  1. Also when you recieve an Evite, there is a place to respond with a "yes", "no", or "maybe". You will also be able to see the responses of all that have responded to it too.
  2. Some good news on this topic. Copied this off RBs. Oceanic aquarium products will live on, just not the big “Oceanic Aquariums” Posted on March 18th, 2011 by Jake Adams 1 Comment Yesterday we posted about Central Pet nixing the Oceanic brand but it turns out that they are really only streamlining the Oceanic product line. Oceanic and Aqueon are two brands owned by Central Garden & Pet which both produced a similar catalog of aquarium sizes and shapes. After a few years of selling 100 times mroe Aqueon tanks than Oceanic tanks, the decision was made to curtail production of the higher-end aquariums. As many of you may remember, back in the day if you wanted a better glass tank in the U.S. it was pretty much Oceanic or bust. The Oceanic brand as a tank-manufacturer is basically what is being “skinnied down”. Central Pet still has the capability to produce higher-end custom aquariums with premium features like Starphire glass, beveled edges and nicer trim that we came to expect from Oceanic aquariums, but they simply won’t be pumping out the big Oceanic tanks like they used to. Instead the Oceanic brand will be streamlined to include all of the products which are packaged: Biocubes, Biocube accessories, Oceanic Salt and Chillers and the Illuminata will still be marketed and distributed to the aquarium trade. We are glad that popular aquarium products like Oceanic Salt and the Biocubes will continue to be available nationwide and we apologize to Oceanic and Oceanic dealers for the error in our reporting. Thanks to Central Aquatics and Oceanic for reaching out to us to clarify the changes.
  3. I would say go for a 75g over a 55g. The footprint is alot better on the 75g.
  4. Well at least you found out the problem before you replaced all of them.
  5. I run VHOs for my actinics and don't plan on changing anytime soon. Go out and add some MH lighting to your system.
  6. Sorry Bro. :( Wishing you the best of luck!
  7. I have to go to Cali in June so I plan on stopping by. I'll let them know Oregon is waiting!! :)
  8. Not that I'm a Bob and Tom fan I was just saying. But at least 101.5 plays metal!! (rock2) (rock2) (rock2) (rock2) (rock2) (rock2) (rock2) (rock2) (rock2) (rock2) (rock2)
  9. I'm voting for goby/pistol pair. Then add a Hectors goby and many a couple of sexy shrimp. Not alot of bio-load but should get some cool creatures that you could appreciate.
  10. Well then never get an Arrow Crab then! They look even more like spiders to me.
  11. But if GFO was left in the system too long it would leach back out. Or am I wrong? This is something I have believed for quite some time and I knoe LFS say it too. I just do not know what "too long" really is. But I have never left GFO in for more then 2-3 weeks. So I guess what I'm asking is how long did Frank use it for?
  12. I hope many after getting the bigger place!
  13. It's the 23-24. I have told Kevin about it already. We just need to make sure everyone know the real date until we can get new ones.
  14. Yeah it never really says why it is gone. Just really sad to think that Ptown is the 23rd or 24th media market in the US and it can not have a rock station on the dial. If you can pick it up 101.5 outta Eugene is the same sort of station. They have Bob and Tom in the morning and the Donkey Show in the afternoons.
  15. I know Garrett at the Premium Aquarium has a 40b too. I'm sure he has more stuff too. He is a sponsor here, give him a call.
  16. This is not a bad idea at all! Nice thinking Pete. I'd be for this.

  18. Sorry to hear of your bad luck............. But that should mean you are good to go for awhile now!
