Need Help! December Holiday Party!!!

The Dec 11 holiday party is about a month away. We are going to have a blind frag swap but also wanted to do a white elephant gift exchange to that is run similar to the blind frag swap. 
Is anyone who is going to the party able to help with this ?

I can do it.

Do we want to set a price limit on the white elephant gifts?  Do we want to request only reefing-related items?

I propose we hand out a white raffle ticket to each person who brings a gift, then randomly draw the ticket numbers to decide who picks each gift.  Limit the number of times a gift can be stolen to 2 so it doesn’t drag out too long.

Thoughts?

Thanks . In the interest of time we were going to run it like the blind frag swap (talk to David Obrien ) so there won’t be steals.  Item can be reef related or not with a 5 to 10 dollar limit.  I agree with handing out a raffle ticket to anyone who brings a prize . Does that make any sense ?😂

We're kind of limited on time.   Thought was to do a form of blind gift exchange (of dry goods).  Define a cost limit.  For everyone who brings one, give them a token.  an hour later, let those with tokens take their pick of the one of the blind packages brought.   Forgot to say, ask everyone to bring their gift WRAPPED.  When they go to pick a gift, they'll know which wrapping is their own, and dont have to pick it.   Kind of a one-pass, and done, topic.

Agreed ! I’m sure @SuncrestReef can find a fun way to tap into those who choose naughtiness and lumps of coal for the holidays. Like David said we just bounced some thoughts off but I’m sure you will come up with something good. Thanks for taking this on. 😃

I remember a white elephant exchange down in Salem [language filter] 10 years ago maybe more............. would you want to steal my white SPS I brought...............
