Manny Tavan
Took out all the snails and dosed 2mg/gallon of fabendazole. These are the progress before treatment

stephanie
I wanted to do this for years, but I always thought you couldn't do it with LPS in the tank. Please keep us updated!
Manny Tavan
As you can tell all the lps are fine. It would kill gsp and Xenia however
obrien.david.j
I successfully killed blue clove polyps using the same method in March 2018. Here's a before (March 20) and after (April 1) photo. But there's more to my story...
obrien.david.j
But in spring of 2019 it looked like they came back. Confident with my treatment in 2018, in June of 2019 I tried it again. (Here's a before pict) But there's a catch - I didn't realize these weren't Blue Clove Polyps....
obrien.david.j
And in June 2019 the clove polyps got knocked back, but not eliminated. As of today, I've got a problem with non-blue clove polyps. Anyone got any ideas? I'm about ready for a wider help request on R2R. (Hmm, I got a message from the website I can only upload 19.5MB. Looks like I'll pause before posting pictures of these non-blue CP.)
obrien.david.j
Waited an hour, Picts of Non-Blue Clove Polyps now upload. Question - Anyone have any suggestions beyond using Fendendazole? I had a nice tilefish in the tank from July through December. First he consumed a few aptasia, and I was hoping he'd move on to clove polyps, but never did. Manny Tavan
Some people have been able to use tuxedo urchins for bcp control
obrien.david.j
I’ve got one urchin, I’ll add a few more.
