Unsure on the gallons, but why don't you drain it and replace the piece? I'm sure on this forum, if you post pictures of the drained tank you can find someone to help. CrabbyCrabs Posted February 8, 2019 Share Posted February 8, 2019 I know certain solvents can attack certain plastic like that, but usually it's superficial damage that can be sanded/buffed out.
