KyleSproul
Definitely interesting. I wonder if there's been study on which plastic is safe vs not
Dria
ABS is pretty safe I think because that's what most of the plastic they use in aquarium parts. I've heard PLA will degrade over time but that it becomes a carbon source since it's made of corn (I haven't verified that, just read it once).
reefnjunkie
Figured I'd bump these guys up being I just re-ordered. Pretty slick holders for the Vortech
Fisher15
I just finished building my own printer from scratch. It has a v-slot frame, a Smoothie controller and a Prometheus hot end. I bought it with the intention of using it for drone parts, but since then I have had a few ideas for the aquarium as well. I am planning to put a new overflow design into all of my breeder tanks that will be printed.
