Jeramy
I think this is a wicked cool Idea(rock2) however I am sick of the ridiculous mark up on new reef products this does not look like it is $300 awesome.DOH! Very cool concept and could see this making it big in the nano world (rock2) Smuggling plans to Jeabo as we speek (plotting)
reefnjunkie
299.00 MAP is probably the "wavemaker 1" model-I'd venture to guess I'm the "wavemaker 4" at 699.00 LOL http://www.aquariumspecialty.com/maxspect-gyre-generator-wavemaker if it can handle 1" acrylic I'm game to give it a try
matty
IT's cool, just wait for Jaebo to rip off the idea and it can be yours for a fraction of the price!
C0lin
Here's what I'd do. You know those little bamboo water fountains you put in your yard that dump the water once it's full? Do something like that. It would be a lot cheaper.
Blackice
Dam $300-$700 it's just a vacuum brush so it's water prof that don't take much!!!! I see diy plans with my hover at home in my future lol
Micah
Yeah, screw this thing.... Let's just all move to the Caribbean and instead of fish tanks, we'll have fish cages. The flow is so natural and random! But seriously... Horizonal Gyre flow is pretty cool. Low velocity, high volume. I do see some interesting patterns in sandbeds occurring though. Higher Thinking
Yeah, screw this thing.... Let's just all move to the Caribbean and instead of fish tanks, we'll have fish cages. I think I'll go ahead and claim a few hundred thousand gallons myself. Maybe make the walls out of one-way fish traps to collect everything for myself.... vanz
Supposedly that $300 price tag was for the mid range....there should be cheaper options. Hopefully a $99 option
