The Clam Hotel: Sand Bed & Breakfast

Quick update. We had to change the ballast because it wasn't giving the right par for the clam. We were providing about 100, which is good for acans and chalices, not for a clam.

We connected a new Sunlight Supply 250w pulse ballast and a new bulb. The par is now around 300 at clam level :)

The clam cam is still on during the evenings :)

So who do I have to barrow to get a par reading? ;) That and what excuse do need to make up to come out there?

You need a dying giant clam lol

You are always welcome to come by and visit the Clam Hotel. There is plenty of room at the Clam hotel. Any time of year, you can find it here (scary)

Kim' date=' you saw the upside-down cross in my living room... (scary)[/quote']

Alex I told you I didn't notice the cross. It's all that Catholic school exposure you learn to filter those things out and besides it was hard to notice anything but the fact that you two were watching the Sarah Palin reality tv show(scary)(scary)(scary) That's more frightening then any upside down cross!(laugh)(laugh)(laugh)

Mick, time will tell. The Clam was under a broken ballast for a lot of time. But it seems to be happy an healthy right now :)

Kim, Sara Palin it's the thing that makes Julian sleep, even better than the hairdryer or the gas stove. I really believe that Sara Palin and the turkey video is one of the best thing ever broadcasted. I'm saying this as an unbiased and apolitical european :)

Back to bears... ops.. fish now
