It could also be small majanos. Nothing eats those guys imop. Try covering it and see if it moves. Majanos move. I've had small majanos that almost look identical to aptasia.

They're usually hit or miss, i started mine in basically a qt with rocks that had live rock and aptasia on it lol I barely fed it also until it started eating the aptasia. I think once it developed a taste for it,it didn't stop eating it. I also have a long nose butterfly that eats them.

So I've noticed coralline algae growing alot lately in my new bar build i started this year. I know there's a ton of different colors but I've had this dark magenta looking color and I've been scrapping it to get it to spread everywhere lol. Thanks to whoever infected my tank with this color. I love it! I can't be the only one that does stuff like this lol

Lol yea it was just a idea. Was thinking just getting a big shipping crate locally and reinforcing it with either 2x6s or 4x4. Then lining it. Just been seeing alot of no view frag/lagoon setups and seems pretty simple and looks beautiful. Lol I kinda want some small sharks 🤣

You can do a huge water change like 90% but some sensible corals and what not may suffer from the big sudden change. Maybe if you slowing drip acclimate them they won't suffer.

Just had a wild idea of making a large lagoon in my garage . Not sure on size yet,but looking for any input on them. Mainly wood frame and a pond liner and all the essentials. 🤙

I've done a dozen or so diy stands. It all depends on materials. For skinning, HD has 1/4 wood panels thatre 5x9ft? If i remember correctly. Its about $27 a panel. I like to make my stands 1/2 bigger on each side. That way it sit in the middle of the 2x4s. But I mean its all up to you imagination and hand skills.
