The aquarium facebook groups are a train wreck...

I used to try and help and then would get drown out by all this bad advice. It is funny though how people get an idea in there head and just cant seem to get it out.

It's just funny. Like people that avoid MH because they are "soo expensive to run" and then put an equivalent wattage of LEDs over their tank.

Anyways.. air bubbles speeding up flow.. that is classic.

Exactly what brian said. I always question using latex paint because water will get through the paint, soak the wood, and the latex paint will let go.

Copper is toxic to.fish and ich is becoming resistant to it. CP can cure ich, velvet and brooknelia. And it is a one dose and done..

I have dosed my current batch of fish THREE TIMES with copper. Hannah checker, maintained therapeutic dose, separate gear... they had ich cysts show up after being in 2.0ppm of copper power for 7 days..

Anyways, for those that are serious about fish health and QT it is worth looking into.

Super cool video... I would add a wrinkle.. have you thought of putting the tank where the TV in the bar is?

Right now the tank is in the hallway. No place to.sit and state at the tank. I had a tank in a place like that and never really got to.enjoy it.

In terms of tearing an in wall tank out and repairing what was done. That would literally take 4 2x4, a sheet of drywall and some paint.

Seriosuly...don't let that influence your design.

Ok, not a crosshatch then.

I currently have the "fish of regret" it is absolutely gorgeous but to say that it is an aggressive and ravenous predator is the understatement of the year.

Not sure what I was thinking when I got him. Kind of analogous to thinking a stripper would make a good girlfriend.

It would go great in your tank though....

Sorry Holly. I have lost three of those fish..I'm just cursed. Two got smashed in rocks and one got sucked into my closed loop inlet when I forgot to put the strainer back on.
