  1. When I started my weight loss I couldn't even make up a flight of stairs without feeling I just ran a marathon..I had high blood pressure and just hated myself. It took the doctor to say your going to die very soon if you don't stop. I stopped. I started at a massive 236lbs. It's been slow but it's been 3 years and still working on it and I'm down to 170lbs. I only have 10 more lbs to hit my goal weight. Sadly I don't have much home support. I just go jogging and walk as much as I can. When I started to lose weight I had access to a gym threw work but changed jobs and no longer. That's when weight loss really slowed down... but it's still a work in progress.. You go Kim.....yeah I found I can not go over 1000 calories or weight loss stops... Sucks lol...where is that class?
  2. Everything I got from you is doing great
  3. Still sitting here at work... but I did take tomorrow off...since everyone pretty much left sometime ago.
  4. I'm also looking at adding a wrasse to my tank to keep flatworms out.. Just not sure what I want I'm leaning towards a yellow corgis wrasse. I will just move my snails to the other tank.
  5. It's the very very rare invisible clown tang. Always wanted to see one.
  6. lol dang 3 months to early for me....
  7. no I was going to but never got around to it :( I wish I had...but I will tell you my sand looked horrible before dosing.. I did everything vaccum, reduce feedings, black outs which did work for a few days then it was back to be horrible again.. I tried ignoring it hopping it would go away (just got thick mats everywhere) blew everything off daily with a turkey baster, increased flow, decreased flow changed out all media added chemipure, phoseguard, changed to rowa polyfilters, added more biological filtration with marinepure, decreased light times increased light times... what else??? oh increase water changes decreased water changes... yeah I cant remember..tested and tested and tested water quaility over and over.... increase mag. ph and alk.. made my own 2 part thinking maybe... mm oh peroxide.. yeah Im sure I tried other things but I cant remember... but it was just horrible vibrant was the final straw if it had not worked I would have tore down my 20 and rebuilt it... so for me it worked.... just did not completely get rid of the byropsis but now that I did kill it doing what Jack said my tank is making me happy again.. clean happy tank.. clean happy owner :P already window shoping for tax return stuff... I will def. be ordering a MP 10 this time but the toss up will be between a apex jr or (build my own programing a arduino or raspberry pi ) or a protien skimmer..
  8. as for bryopsis it did not kill it but it did seem to slow it down and keep it from growing like it was.. I finally just took the rock out and did the Kent mag soaking for 10mins then scrubbed it clean.. No more bryposis.. but vibrant did work on my cyano/dino outbreak pretty fast..
  9. an off question. How did you like the Reef Angel? Have been tinkering with the idea of getting one or just getting a raspberry pi or an ardunio and coding it myself..Just not sure which way I want to run with it
  10. do you know if all fires can use the app? Or just certain ones?
  11. did my first dose of vibrant lastnight... It looks like it might actually work... My bryopsis seem to be lighting up and not spreading... still to soon to tell though..but the cyano omg it actually a lot less today... Im shocked just how much better it already is...by now I would have thick mats all over my sand bed.. but it has not shown up today only small patches here and there nothing like I was getting...
  12. Aww just to far away for us... have a great time everyone
  13. well I did learn one thing. I was trying the peroxide dosing in my other tank and sadly found out that urchins do not like it! I found him dead the next day... :( but nothing else seems to be bothered by it
  14. Well if your ever this way you can have it. Just sitting collecting dust yeah the 20 longs are sweet.
  15. yeah I know about cuc but I needed to get new ones since mine are finally all moving to the big ocean in the sky... They are the original ones from 3 years ago.. so it was something I needed either way... yay for vinegar i soaked all my stuff with it too.. lol all pumps clean and new looking
  16. well yesterday did a large water change and just went nuts cleaning... removed any rock that I could that was covered in bryopsis and cut alot of rock out of my tank that I could not remove. I think I removed about 90% of the outbreak.. As for the sand well still working.. I did pick up a few cleaner hermits but will have to get some more next weekend. I will also order the vibrant Friday.
  17. yep RODI filter changed last month... yeah Im going tomorrow to try to find a bunch of dwarf blue leg hermits to add to my cleaning crew.. Or should say lack of cleaning crew.... It looks like I will be swinging by OIB tomorrow
  18. I read somewhere that they might actually help coral out more than harm them. But can't find where I saw that....
  19. mmm not even sure were that is...lol Im near the Walmart off Mill Plain and 205...
  20. Love the light rack! Wished I ended up with something like that. I ended up using large shelf hangers off the wall
  21. Yep I have that in one of my carts to buy. Just waiting for payday. Lots of people are trying it out. I would be happy if it even just kept it from getting worse.
  22. I am looking at buying an American DJ rack mount power switch. How are you mounting it under your stands? I see the front mounting holes. But with the plugs going into the back what hardware is being used to install it under our tanks in my cabinet?
