  1. Go to your local Fire dept if you need them right away, had to save a tank years back during a week long coastal storm that knocked the power out for over a week! :(
  2. if you need a external in a pinch, let me know It's a Gen-X PCX-70HP but would likely create more heat then you'd prefer, but anyway, it's here if you need it I also have a mag 18 if you can find a quick impeller for it, but i blame that pump for putting rubbish/impeller shavings into the tank that made a filter sock black as night! Just want to give you some options
  3. Thanks for all the great tips guys And WOW! Bombertech, that is one beautiful nem!
  4. Well, it just gets better and better, my GB Royal Flush Chalice ate half of my GB Bi-color Pectinia last night :( That will be the last time i black the tank out at night, with them so close together in this emergency situation, i knew better to not keep the moonlights on :(
  5. (wife) (hidesbehindsofa) (brick) (jail) Something like that anyway... This is so awesome! The new frag system will agree
  6. Thank you Kim, yep pretty much something like that that will float.
  7. thanks for the idea Sean, i have some of that from Joann's. I'm looking for something more sturdy, there is a large piece of Tonga that is kind of holding the current colander still and in place, any ideas on a reef safe plastic basket with a safe flotation device? But that mesh will work in the emergency i'm in, thank you
  8. My small rainbow bubble tip has been surprisingly happy with the 1st small rock i put him on and stayed put, but now since the frag tank gave way, i had to move him a few times and he has now left his rock. The problem that i'm having is the colander that i bought when i first got him has very small slits with "sharp plastic burrs" that his tentacles inevitably go through and it acts as a knife (sad). I have a couple more weeks until my new frag tank is done and ALL my coral is in the 40g sump so i cant really have him running amok in there. (scary) Is it possible to keep him happy and safe for that time in a colander? Current situation: [/img]
  9. You and me both Steve :p Last i called Jeff "about a month ago" he has them often and at a price that can't be beat
  10. UFC 1-10 are all that matter Deleted over 120 UFC's off the hard drive but will always keep those
  11. omg! Bill if my couple little bonus frags you gave me awhile back make it through my blown out frag tank extravaganza, you will be amazed! It's the couple Pastels you gave me, well, they grew up into a super blue with neon yellow tips (clap)
  12. Ok, i guess i'll just pick her up
  13. Frag tank blew out Frank, but i still need a Palmers Maybe some trades to speed things up? its always possible
  14. Micah: there was a newer member that wanted to jump inline for him before the crash but i cant remember their name :( and shortly after that Brad mentioned he would like him for a bit, so as it stands... Brad>Micah then ????? Sound good? The thing is, since this is a community fish, i have kept him separate from the majority of my fish. He lives in a 20g tall with 5 very healthy small Chromis. The majority of my Aiptasia problem is in my 55g with all my other fish. Here's where it gets interesting, being how my pair of true perc clowns are now 3-0 i wont risk a PNWMAS community fish when i can easily just take problematic rocks and just transfer them over to his tank for the time being to let him work on, now i do realize parasites can be transferred from rock to rock, tank to tank hence the strong diet. If your curious (laugh) the clowns record include 1 Chromis 1 small bluefin damsel and 1 gorgeous Manderain i got from Travis that was pretty much gobbling up brine from his hand! :( That is why this process of him working on one rock at a time will take a little bit, but rest assured guys i have him and will take good care of him.
  15. Yeah, i wish i only had just a couple
  16. and wow! now this guy is one heck of a Cameleon, i find myself looking for him all the time in a small 20g tall and he's always right in front of my face!
  17. I have the PNWMAS Filefish!!! (MUST STAY IN THE CLUB!) Courtesy of Matt in Sandy and then Corey in Beaverton (that chose to make his user name all crazy so we cant find it :p ) Just wanted to let you guys know i have him and he is safe, though he still has a lot of work to do He is being kept separate from all other fish and working on one rock at a time and is very happy on his diet of Aiptasia with a side diet of Mysis/Brine+Spirulina mixed with Selcon, garlic,Brightwells VIT-C When i 1st got him..... I will keep you guys updated
  18. Another concern was my Yellow Tang, living in my 40b sump (No baffles) a strange thing started to develop with him before being moved to the frag tank sump, he was in a 38g tall with 5 very small Chromis and in the short time he was with them (Maybe 4 weeks) the 6 of them became inseparable. Since being separated he has become very very shy, even with lots of things to go hide in in the sump. The thing i struggled with was putting my murderous Lawnmower Blenny in along with his small sixline friend. with the tang The Sixline wasn't really a concern but the blenny has already killed and ate, yes ATE the 2nd beautiful Springari i had put in to join the 1st, thankfully i can say three times a charm on this one and there is now a pair that he accepts .
  19. Totally my fault in every way shape and form, i even talked with Rudy about it a while back and being the awesome guy he is, gave me more than enough information on how to fix it the right way, i was just praying it would make it to the end of the month when my new tank is done. A mistake i will never repeat again. The things i was most concerned with initially was water chemistry, being relatively new to sps and really only a year and a half into SW in general, already having beat aefw and other nastiness, i manually test and dose alk,ca everyday at the same time even though i don't have to anymore and now having all my sps in a 10g with much different flow has me really concerned. i have more but don't what to overwhelm you guys with a wall of text
  20. I did not know they carried this kind of stuff, going to have to pay them a visit in the morning.
  21. Oh no, so sorry to see this Roy, but very happy you guys are ok.
  22. It is :( it will now become frag racks for all (clap)
