  1. For me it was an easy fix. I came home from work with a deep cut in my hand, I changed my filter socks out later that night and the cut got a tingly feeling. I shut everything down and checked all the cords at the base of fhe pumps. Sure enough I found a pump with a frayed cord. I replaced the pump, and turned everything back on. Next morning my purple was back to its normal color and swimming without a care in the world. Don't go cutting your hand to test for voltage. I know there's better ways to do so. Google will help as far as how to test. Good luck.
  2. Check for stray voltage. I ran into that problem and my purple tang turned pale and was darting back and forth.
  3. They're fun for mixed reefs and segregation of specimens all in one. Great concept..
  4. Its been a great set up but I am slowly downsizing.. I hope I don't regret letting it go lol
  5. Yes it is. I paid quite a bit more for it but I don't want it sitting around and I'd really like to downsize.
  6. Up for grabs is my awesome partitioned tank. It holds frags, fish or misbehaving inverts all in one. It has its own overflow and return to run independently. I installed a bulkhead on the side and is currently running from my display sump. It would make a great sump as well as it does have a bubble trap and two chambers in the rear for a skimmer and reactors. There are a few scratches here and there, maybe some swirl marks but nothing terrible. Still looks crystal clear. $150 Next is a SWC 160 xtreme cone skimmer. I upgraded the mesh impeller to a needle wheel and its a monster. The skimmer has had a vinegar bath and it is in excellent condition. The needle wheel alone was $45. Asking $165. I also have a reeflo dart hybrid that is in excellent condition, decided not to use it as it is overkill for running a close loop. I will throw in a sequence pump that looks identical to the reeflo for back up. Both are good running pumps. 120 for both pumps.
  7. I have a 100g partitioned tank that works great as a sump. It has three sections, one large and two small. You can hold fish, inverts and refugium all in one. Worked great for me but I'm now looking to replace it with a frag tank.
  8. I like your set up bombertech. A tray was my first idea.
