I went to Garrett's last night and bought a bunch more cuc and had to pick up a maxi. So I ended up getting letter C of the hand picked. Honestly there were only two available and I liked this one the most out of all the one's he had left so I feel I got pretty fortunite. Although all of them were ridiculous and would have taken any of them. I also had to pick up a few more corals and a Diamond Goby:). I will try to take pics of the maxi when my light finally turns on this morning. Been waiting for it to come on since 6:30 this morning and that was after going to bed after 2. (Had to take a trip to the hospital for my wife. She is fine now.) I have about 15 minutes to go until the lights bless me with there presence. I feel like a child on Christnas morning. lol

I love you guys!!! LOL This goes from a fish growout to a drinking game. Being a little intoxicated at the moment I am on board for the drinking game. I do live atleast an hour from all of you so I may need to spend the night at someone's house. HAHAHA

I bought two of the deluxe brs reactors and I run one with carbon and the other with gfo. I have my carbon on full open because with the supplied sponge you compress the carbon so that it does not tumble and create dust. My gfo tumbles ever so slightly. I have to really turn down the pump on my gfo or it tumbles way to much. If it tumbles to hard it will break up but it takes quite a bit. Also if the gfo tumbles to hard it seams to go through the sponge and deposit it into the bottom of my sump. I then have to siphon it out. I think impur is right on combining them potentially costing more money in the long run because I change my carbon every two weeks and the gfo is good for a month or more. I do really like the brs reactors though. They are made and work extremely well in my opinion deffinitly worth the money in my opinion.

Ok guys I was wanting some feed back on my next fish purchase. I currently have a 120 gallon (standard 4x2x2) with 1 chromis and two picasso percs I got from Barelycuda (Which I absolutely love thanks again Dave.) My new fish would go into my qt so I can watch it there and so it does not by chance infect the rest of my tank. So I eventually wanted a Goby for sand stirring (Diamond maybe) A Jawfish (if my sandbed is deep enough. It is about 2 plus inches) A wrasse, and a tang. (maybe two if it will work I really love tangs) Any other suggestions on fish would be awesome. If you think a specific wrasse, tang or any other species what so ever would be awesome please let me know and the order in which you would add the fish on my list or whatever list you recommend. Oh and I am planning on running a mixed reef so nothing that will eat my cuc and my coral. If you have any cool invert ideas I am always open to thous as well. I currently have a pair of blood shrimp and a pair of skunk cleaners along with an assortment of snails, hermits, and my favorite my fighting conch! Thanks everyone and all ideas are great. I am using Ro/Di. Why? well because when I got into this hobby that is what everyone said to use. I figure as much money as I have in this hobby it was worth the investment. Now I have heard the same thing as some other people have stated that if you use solely DI it will expend really quick and it will cost big money in the end. I bought the water saver unit from thefilterguys.biz. These guys are very knowledgeable and have extremely good customer service. I have nothing bad to say and would buy my unit again in a heart beat. I am getting a 1 to 1 rejection water rate. So really it is not that bad. I actually saw no increase in my water bill the first month and that is when I drained and filled my tank twice with RO. Give them a call and talk to them about using straight up DI. You can even tell him your TDS readings and see if he changes his tune. I don't know if that helps but I figured I would let you know.

Thanks Franklin! That is funny about Clay. I saw that thing in my tank and had to kill it quick. I have actualy killed two now although the second one was almost completely clear and a lot harder to see. I am sure I have more and have not seen them yet. So the gsp did actually take about 4 days to open up but is stating to look a lot better. I moved it from the spot that I had it to its own rock that is out of direct light from the halides and it seems to like it a lot better there. I also moved it to its own rock because people were scarring me on how fast they spread and take over tanks. So he can have that whole rock to himself. It is one of my wife's new favorite corals though. Thanks again and I hope to see you soon.

Think I spotted my first nuisance hitchhiker. I am pretty sure this was a aiptasia so I killed it. If it was not oh well I did not like the looks of it anyway. I used aiptasia rx. Took some up in the syringe and squirted it all over the top of it. Has not been back sense. Sweet!!!

I then had to install another shelf because the one shelf was already full. I decided to install my Apex right above it and my head unit is to the right of my door to my room. I wanted to put it on the stand but with two small children I could not do that.

I just listned to all of your links. I have heard two of them and the other two were new to me. I really appreciate you posting thous. Getting me even more jacked for the game. So here is how I did my sump. I have one drain line going to my fuge and the other going to my skimmer section. They both flow to the center where my return is. I am housing most of my stuff in the return section and am already wishing I would have made it bigger.

I just read your whole thread on your clam. I am really happy to hear it is doing well. I too really want a clam but my tank is only about 5 weeks old. I have made the decision that I will wait till it is atleast 6 months old. I am very conscientious about my water quality but I still don't want to take any risks. Thanks for sharing! It was a lot of useful info for me.

I bought it off of Marinedepot. I found out later my local mom and pop hardware store carried it as well though so you may want to check around before paying shipping.
