    Ipad

once again, not to be a debbie downer. i think the ipads are cool. but once you add up the cost of a blue tooth dock/keyboard, a case, and anything else that you need to get, you are looking at a price that could land you near a laptop. and with laptops, you get wifi, a built in key board that you don't have to fiddle with, and it is all neat and compact. on top of this you have little to no limits, and you have more features. get an itouch to satisfy your touch envy ( i think they still come with a macbook these days lol). oh yeah, and you get the sick computer games, IMO they rival, or beat the apps

    Ipad

go laptop. the ipad has limitations, imagine writing a paper on a touch screen... yuck. also you can't install certain programs (word, excell etc) you cant go on certain websites, and things like adobe acrobat will note get installed. IMO a laptop is 100 times better when it come to school work. for apps it is sick

    Dragon wrasse

The tank is a 45 Fowlr currently. the only other fish are a molly and a dragon goby. the sand bed is 2" deep, i have seen it burrow, however i see it occasionally lay on the bottom as if it were dead, then when i go to scoop it up, it swims away vividly. i fear that it isn't eating, so i put it in an overflow box that wasn't in use, and connected it to the side of the aquarium with a mag float. my hope is that it will be able to get the food i give it, and keep it in it's face. thanks for the arctipod suggestion reefit, i think i am going to try them tomorrow.

    Dragon wrasse

hi there, i just got a dragon wrasse 2 weeks ago, and i noticed it has been acting odd ( sitting on the bottom, then swimming around normally), and not eating very much. i was wondering if anybody here has successfully kept a dragon wrasse, and what insight the have to offer on keeping one, especially how it behaves and eats. the wrasse is only 1" to 1 1/2" big. thanks.
  6. inside or out? i can do it for trade/ money
  7. ok. yes qt is great. but its too late for you... i recently had an ich outbreak, and what i found that REALLY HELPED was a fresh water dip. this is what i did in steps. 1. make a bowl of fresh water, that is dechlorinated, is the equivalent ph of your system and is also the same temp. i just used a large salad bowl ( you can buy buffer from seachem at hollywood aquarium) 2. carefully capture your fish(es) and one at a time place them fully submerged in the bowl of FRESH water. this will kill all parasites on the outside of the fish. leave them in there for AT LEAST 3 minutes. (i did 6 min dips and it went great). NOTE: when you put your fish in it will look dead for the first couple minutes (this is normal) but at 2min-6min all of my fish went from lying on the bottom of the bowl to swimming peacefully. 3. take the fish out of the cowl and put it bak in the aquarium. this should be done at least three days in a row to all the fish that have the external ich present. i realize this is a mouthful. gimme a call/pm if you want further details/buffer 971-533-4150 marshall

  11. looks good! to build on what rick was saying, carpet also works if you attach it to the inside of the wall ( its pretty cheap too). and as for chemical filtration, i would use it all
  12. i heard through the grapevine that the owner caught word and decided to be a debbie downer on the thread. and yet they are still too cheap to actually sponsor... LOL
