  1. Congrats on the new LED's they look great!!
  2. I like the 14 or 20k, but that is me. And while you will love the colors you start to get from the halide, heat will be a big issue over the 40B. I'm running a 250 over mine and will have a chiller by next summer because of the added heat. Shouldn't be so bad now that the weather is cooloing, but I would keep some ice bottles on hand for a warmer day.
  3. You? no, not you! Your the shining example of a good reefer!!
  4. Got you covered...I have some purple cloves. I like them and LC Scott makes the trip once a week. He would probably be willing to meet you some where in Portland on his way back from here. How does 20$ total sound for both?
  5. Probably not the kind your looking for, but I have greenish BTA's that are desirable in the sense they are extremely healthy, Noobie proof almost and tend to stay put. It also splits regularly and is cheap frag trade or 10$. If you have any interest I'll post a pic for you.
  6. I second this. I have found them to be some of the best to work w/, but I tend to do my research before buying. That is with any LFS though. I even do my own research when buying something from TPA. We should be able to get better guidance from our LFS, but I find depending on we should usually ends bad. They have amazing customer service though, and are willing to make a bad purchase right.

    microscope

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, (wow you'd think I would know that after 2 1/2 years here), but is there anyone here who has a microscope they'd be willing to lend out for a day or so? Willing to offer a frag for the loan or better yet when these baby clowns are ready a free pair.
  8. Not yet sounds like their in the process of doing that study now.
  9. Every nem is different so if your feeding and getting good results keep doing what your doing. I feed mine when to mood strikes me right. Other than that, they get food from the water column when I broadcast feed. Other than that just light, and I know mine are really healthy.
  10. Haven't tried that method yet, but my clowns might go for it.... Either way I have the eggs now and I think by the dates on this thread 2 days till hatch. Wish me luck, though this time we are ready.
  11. WOW....I think this is one of the biggest lists I've seen in the 2 years I've been here.
  12. As most know I have rotifers going for Colins clowns and mine. I am finding I have way more than I need at the moment. So any one who is wanting some can grab a bottle and come pick some up. 5$ for up to a 20oz bottle, I am looking into getting some 16oz ones just for this. Till than bring your own please. I am feeding them a combo of phyto culture and roti grow.

    Hippo Tang

I would like to think Re-Run for the use of his fish trap. The tang is now happy in his new home, stress free.
  14. Well thank you...you'd have to fight my hubby for them. For someone who claims to not like cats he sure is attached. Caught him giving all three tiny little bites of his cheese cake, trying to make sure he share fairly.
  15. And look at my 2...tell me there not worth 2k.
  16. Mine is splitting all the time almost. I got 1 for Mr.Wheeling and if anyone knows of another school that would like 1, that would be great.
  17. This is the way of our hobby...fun right. My hubby compares some of the things I find to final fantasy monsters
  18. You know they have prescriptions for that now. They work for some? And thx I have the best luck when acquiring pets
  19. My BTA has split once again.....soooooooo if the school would like one they are welcome to it. These ones are extremely hardy and could be placed in the tank probably as soon as 4 months. I am willing to hold till they are ready for it.
  20. Thx, they are really good for slightly wild kittens.
  21. A generator is on my purchase list for this winter
