OK, I'm still procrastinating about studying for finals, so here are some pics of the 24g tank. Running carbon and LR in the back; thinking I'll do a media basket with some chaeto soon. Light is a 150w sunpod with a 20k radium bulb. Fingers crossed that I'll get a vortech soon... Livestock includes: -fire shrimp -lots of hermit and snails -frogspawn -kryptonite candycane -various acans -various zoas -meteor shower cyphastrea -orange monti cap -montipora confusa -favia -mushrooms -volcano chalice FTS: Acan garden, top-down view: Yay, favia is getting new mouths! Time to upload some pics! This is our 12g tank that lives in the family room with our grey parrot (and the wii). We got it in March after it had been set up as a fish only tank by a teenager for a couple of years. We have since added: -70w sunpod... currently has an xm 20k bulb that I was trying out, but will probably switch soon because I'm not sure about the color -more live rock -koralia nano -carbon & live rock rubble in the back Thinking about transforming one of the compartments into a refugium. More on that later! Livestock includes: -false perc clown -blue damsel -sixline wrasse -cleaner shrimp -emerald crab -bunch of hermits & snails -orange monti cap -montipora undata -some sort of acro that was blue when we bought it but is now green, sorry don't know the name! -pink birdsnest -purple & green lobo -rainbow monti -candycane with its little friend the hitchhiker fungia -various acans -various zoas & a couple of mushrooms think that's it... now for the pics! FTS: The acan garden: New true RPE from grassi and the undata I've had for a few weeks from reefnjunkie, with Erasmus the wrasse lurking overhead (oh and the green zoas in the upper right were our very first "coral" - thanks Rose City!!!): Birdsnest, also from grassi: View from left... you can see favia from Lowman, candycane from Isaac, zoas from CA2OR, zoas & palys from dsoz, and acro up top from The Nano Reef Rainbow monti from grassi OK, that's it for now! Thanks Mick, yeah, it's a good looking tank! I guess for my bedside I have to go even more pico though. Still tempting to set it up somewhere. Though I bet you could grow some awesome SPS in there with a new pico lamp from nanocustoms. The only SPS I've got right now are a couple of small monti caps, a small acro, and a meteor shower cyphastrea. Aside from clearing room in my tanks, part of this sale is to raise money for some sort of cool encrusting monti.
