I get algae blooms when I use the acro power. I'm going to try the ME Corals version next as I hear great things about it.

I have tried the aqualifter, manifold from the main pump and many different small pumps. Always the same, needs adjustment after a short period of time. I use reborn media in a big dual chamber reef octopus.

Plus my effluent runs a broken stream so not a ton of flow.

You don't think it will work? Was just thinking it would be more consistent. Seams like every time I get mine dialed in its time to add media or gas and I start all over again.

Aeration is provided by a 2 story drop to my basement, key is lots of flow to help keep the bubbles from settling on the corals.

I aerate my frag tank with no ill affects.

Very common for them to encrust before starting any vertical growth, some species will not shoot any vertical growth for months.
