I will throw my hat into the high end category. Here are my 2 frags: First one is well over the 50 dollar minimum. It’s an OG bounce. I had the ruler for the growout nearby so I used that as well. 😎 It’s about 1cm in diameter. Next is the top Sunkist bounce . This one I’m not sure if the going rate but I believe 50 is a fair asking price from what i have seen online. It’s 3cm in diameter roughly.

Thanks for getting this up. I will look around my tank and see what I have that is high end worthy. I can’t wait to see what you come up with as bonus items with a 300 dollar budget. 😊

I agree . You have the right attitude 😃. This is meant to be fun and for bragging rights and sometimes you learn something too. Really if you just remember to take a picture every month for 6 months you have a shot at winning. Now sit back and watch my 25 lagoon dominate 😉

Thanks David and @reefrun for coordinating this. The most challenging part of these competitions is trying to arrange pickup. You can just give me my POP stand at the Holiday party ! Nice to see you back !

You may want to let the other people who posted in this thread know as they are going to get dq’d by tomorrow. Interestingly I found a ruler from the batch I bought from a competition years ago.

@obrien.david.j @reefrun I am assuming the requirement to use the ruler on all pictures will be excused this time since some of us have not been able to obtain our ruler and pop stands ? I like the idea of us all using the same ruler for consistency. If not I will hunt down a plastic ruler !

I second this opinion. While it’s nice to score a deal I am happy that there are more places like biota that have breeding programs. I also agree the price helps cut down on the impulsive factor and I am always willing to pay more for a healthy fish. As the saying goes , the most expensive fish is a dead fish.

Agreed ! I’m sure @SuncrestReef can find a fun way to tap into those who choose naughtiness and lumps of coal for the holidays. Like David said we just bounced some thoughts off but I’m sure you will come up with something good. Thanks for taking this on. 😃
