  1. Thanks for the offer Bob, but i have a large tenius colony already. Looking for some equipment like 24" t5's, controller, chiller, etc...you know, the stuff people don't want to trade
  2. bump with pics. will entertain trades of all types!
  3. no pics at the moment...not a ton of corraline or sponge, but some really nice shapes. The big ones are pretty flat.
  4. Pest free live rock...some tonga, some marshal, some other... Mostly medium pieces(5-7lbs) with a couple big 20+ pounders. Probably about 100lbs available(55 gal tank full)...
  5. It looks to me like this is all happening in FL...contacting the local Fish and Game may be in order.
  6. i dont know how u pulled that off eric!? wtg.
  7. fedex can usually reroute a shipment...same day...especially for overnight packages. The key is that the SENDER must contact fedex and make the change.
  8. Welcome to the world little man! God Bless William Mason Foster. Have fun DAD. That tank is outstanding. Good work.
  9. Deep water acro's are yummy.
  10. Both times I was mixing water with a koralia powerhead...not in the main tank, and NO I was not touching a ground. But after all this happened, I am getting really nervous about the Koralia's in my display tank. I wonder if anyone else has had Koralia shock their socks off...(whistle)
  11. sponges are usually a really good thing. A sign of a healthy tank and a natural filter.
  12. Great stuff here. I thought grounding probes would be my worry free pass to neverland. wrong. I have had two Koralia's ZZZZAAAPPP me within the last year. While giving me a reason to not play with the aquascaping, it has made me very conscious of the possibility... Will my fish die if it zaps the tank?
  13. nice additions! Love those chalices. Watch that arrow crab...they LOVE to dine on inverts...clams, snails, etc. I was at Garret's a few months ago when someone brought in a MONSTER arrow crab that had wiped out a large population of snails. It was funny, he couldn't figure out why all his snails were dead. cheers!
  14. ok, let us know where to send the cashola. Can I just bring ya cash when I pick up?
  15. Maybe...how would I "flush" the membranes? it has 3 cannister type filters and 2 membranes on top.
  16. Steve, I can tell because the flow went from 2:1 or 3:1 all the way down to 10:1...its a huge reduction and the pressure is the same.
  17. I have been running a new 100gpd RO unit since January without changing any membranes. The waste water usually is about double the flow of the good water, but last night i noticed the flow is now about 10x more wastewater than good water. Any idea what can cause this?
  18. AHHHHHSOME Reef Safe? I want one.
  19. Dimmable is always nice. I have a Dimmable brain switch that has been jammed on low intensity for years.

    Black Limpit

Are you doing anything to get that hair under control? RO...Phosphate absorber, etc... cool limpet! I dig those guys.
  21. Beautiful tank. Love that dimension...and it was pre-plumbed! nice. I have seen greenish coralline on my glass that later turned into purple/pink...but the stuff on your rock looks like regular ol algae. +2 for a large cleanup crew for that tank. Nice aquascaping btw, lots of places for low/high flow and low/high light.
  22. My advice: trade it in and get something that is colorful and non toxic to other corals... Carbon should work, but it doesn't always do the trick...
  23. Aquascaping tanks is something I have done hundreds of times...like many people on this board. I am a BIG fan of vertical structures separated by sand. I would encourage you to not build a wall. Instead, use epoxy and maybe some pillars(clear acrylic or PVC) to get your rock stacked right. Leave as much space around each structure as possible. This creates great flow and not alot of places for nasty buildup. If you can, stop by Upscales and look at how they did their new tank... A tall tank CAN be a PIA, unless you aquascape it correctly. Think VERTICAL, not horizontal...ya dig?
