Sorry for jumping in when I can not help-(presently) but why wouldn't doing a system restore be possible-don't most systems have partioned hard drives and he can just do a "restore" hitting escape during the re-boot or F11-its been awhile-I just figured someone who had it a little more fresh in their head could jump in. Great place to get good deals over there Mike. IMO trying to do a chalice grow out would be a grow out that one would need extreme patience-and then some-I have a chalices that have only grown one additional eye in 7 months-I have watermelon I got from Isaac last summer, it had one eye, it now has 2 with a third showing, also got a true emerald mummy eye-it had one eye, now it has 2. your best bet would be R2R-my last two chalice packs came from there and the last one would have ran me about 1600 from WWC and the likes-I got it delivered to my house for 400.00. There are some SWEEEET ones for sale all the time there-so many chalices so little room (and money) I'd go in on a few with you but it would be 6 months minimum (more like 9) before we could frag them

Never have tried that-Even back before I had RO/DI (mid 80's) I had always used the 30 gallon brute on the dolly, add salt and then AmQuel ( to remove ammonia, chlormine-if present), add the extra heater and PH and mix it up. Syphon it out of the tank into another 35 gal. on another dolly and then I have a 400GPH return pump for the mixed up water. The return hose has a ball valve on it to avoid massive pressure blowing everything around. I do a 20-25 gallon water change in about 5 mins with zero spills- For someone not able to have that gear ( or wants) this looks sweet. Water out of my faucet is usually reading about 8-10 on my TDS meter-pretty dang good-IMO

This is good to know, I found that out a little while ago. Again, all the pieces I have bought, I bought because I wanted the piece, its just irritating to find out that the contrast/color etc has been boosted to drive up prices-I can assure you that 2 separate pictures of the same piece will fetch different dollars when one is just eye popping and the other is well- not I'd love to post up an example of what I think has been altered but these days a lot of sellers (even myself) watermark their images- Throwing someone under the bus is one thing but running them over repeatedly is another

Hey Mark, I would be looking at SPS, but not a fan of the BN or more monti-digi, cap, etc. Any acro in the blue, purple, yellow- Loripes, Lokani, Granulosa, Suharsonoi, Jacquelineae, Gemmifera-just to name afew how about a single polyp of that blasto I saw-I know not SPS, and not a fair trade.. Not worth it my opinion, the refractometer is instant-You add a few drops of water on the lense close and look into the light. Salinty wont be an issue if you have a top off-save the difference in money and dont wast your time on a hyrdometer-LOL at the group feelings on hydrometers PM sent

Shoot Mike, I guess I threw my hydrometer in the garbage-I guess that sums up what I think they are worth. Your tank is to nice to rely on a hydrometer. You can get a very reliable one for no more than 40.00 as low as 28.00. Depends on what you like for the field of view. PM me if you need to.

I want to build a Kalk reactor but cant find anything local for the lid-it has to have a gasket, not just two sheets of acrylic screwed together- I looking for or wanting this type that Smann had, and I prefer square versus round-Just like this one- Or if someone wants to build one like this LMK- I have the MJ pump so don't worry about a pump LMK Thanks
