How did that one go last year? I had just got my tank up and going and wasent ready to fork out bucks on a fresh new tank then. I will be ready for it this time though...(drooler)

Thats a sweet little tank. The color and rock scape is outstanding.

I had a little crab that came with my Acro, was about a 1/8 long and one claw was bigger then the other and no hair. Stayed on just that coral and then was gone after about a week. Was kinda bumbed and hope he shows up later.

Don't feel bad, this hot weather had made me double check mine and found it was reading about 4 deg higher then normal. I guess it was a good thing its reading high and not low. So that means I have been trying to keep my tank below 75 all the time.

If its like my tank it might have them two supports on top right where you would like to put the lights. With that depth I wonder if 400w is too much? Maybe someone will chime in that has tryed that and had found that it was too many shadow spots on the ends?

The skimmer kinda has me thinking, How much flow should there be through a skimmer. Right now I have a Rio 2100 on it so that about 600 gph, according to pump spec. I find it hard that there is that much flow through there. And I hate to think that my Blueline 30 HD-x is reduced down to half with my fittings and head. So whats the best amount of flow you should have going through a skimmer?

I will be in this time around as well.

Being that it looks to be real close to me, I would be willing to go help who ever is incharge of the Tank for Teacher thing.

I am sure some of you have tryed this and I need your thoughts on this, if it even would work. I would like to put a couple 1" T's on the riser from my ext. pump and run a line to my skimmer and then a line to my media reactor. Ext. pump is Blueline 30HD-X (1100gph after head loss calc about 500gph) Skimmer is a Berlin HO 25-250 with a Rio 2100 pump on it now Media Reactor is a AquaC XPplus Would I get the flow I needed for the skimmer? Would I lose to much for my Return? Am I a dork for even trying this?(nutty)

I was meeting him there as well for my bulb and he said he was picking up a huge tank for water storage. So when I parked this guy with a truck next to me had this big 300gl thing in the back and I said to my wife "I bet that's that Ryan guy I need to find". I was late getting there and met a few new reefers.

Do the tips of the tentacles have color like it shows? The zoe's seem to be backing away from them as well, so it seems to have some kinda bite to them.

Very nice looking, and the color of the stand is nice. Its way to clean in the sump area though, and kill the GSP wile you still have a chance. Very nice setup though

This hot weather had made me check my digital as well and I found that it was allways 2 or 4 deg. higher. So I guess I have been keeping my tank at about 75 and a dropping a little lower on the cold nights. Guess I am lucky it was reading higher then lower though.
