  1. They help push alot a water but there to close to the surface and suck air. I have some plastic glued on the top part to stop it. I need to get one more knuckle for each one to stop it.
  2. Mine still needs a year to grow. [/img]
  3. Yea mine took a couple days, you can try and put a outlet lines in a cloth bag to slow them down.
  4. Welcome to the boards, and Grats on the new nice setup you got. Glade you found the ring as well. Sounds like you got your work cut out for you this weekend on setup. Let us know a little about you when you have the chance.
  5. I was to cheep to buy them bad boys and with the 72" Nove Extreame Pro. It does the job thats all I can say. Both of them you are looking at are nice fixtures, just depends on what you want it to look like on the top of your tank. I myself liked the Constellation nice low profile.
  6. I have a trap if you want to run all the way to Vancouver. PM if you need it.
  7. Yea thats Parkrose soon to pe Ace, they have most everything.
  8. Looked him over real good and no holes that I could see. I have noticed the two bivalves/mussels growing on him have died. Alk stays at about 10 with my CR running all the time.
  9. Got a clam from a trade wile back and he seems to be getting better every day. But in the last couple days when he has been trying to close up, he gets his hing point or for a better term, the two shells shift so he can't close all the way. I go in and pick him up and shift them back in place and he close's up tite and then will open back up in about ten min. like nothing has happen. I did see some sand being blown down his intake the other day, so moved him some stop it. I wondering if the sand is whats makeing that happen? Anyone ever see that with a clam?
  10. Thanks guys. That stuff sold where?
  11. Well somehow my sump decided to crack from my hole that I made from one of the bulkheads. It only leaking very slowly so far, but am sure glad I put a water proof sealent on the bottem of my stand when I build it, it has saved my twice now. What do you use on cracks in plexiglass to seal them, and where do you get it? I take it it has to be dry and what do I do about the salt that is now inside the crack?
  12. I thought in my system that it was the dkh that was off so I got a Calciam reactor and that was fixxed with that, now I thinking it is Ph dropping in the night or the salianty getting high from evaporation, Still I get the same thing about once a month. Not the fish and not nudi's as I have had them and know what to look for. Some day I will find the problem.
  13. Let me guess that the spots are about the size of a pee. I have the same thing that happens to a few in my tank as well. My orange Monti, Green slimer, and a couple other sps. The spots last for about a week or two and then they heal up and are gone till it happens again in month or two. I havent been able to find what it is that I am doing so far and have been trying to keep the water as stable as I can. I will keep a eye here as to hope you find what it is.
  14. Let the poor little guy out and get some more pics.
  15. I have a 35 tall. I need to get out of my way. I resealed it and got a little crack in it but still holds water. We can find something to trade later if you want.
  16. O cool, The trash talking is starting. We need a whole new thread for that lol.
  17. I put this here being that we don't have a spot just for breeders, so someone can move it where they see fit. Ok I have some yellow tail damsels that are back to laying them on the glass, so there easy to get too if someone really wanted to try and get them farther along. She/he will keep them there for about 5 more days and then thay start popping off or she eats them or someone does. I think the propblem I have read on these is they are "free flooting larva type"? but thought I would throw them out there for someone who like to try that stuff.
  18. Verry nice Roy. I am trying to find where I can get a chunk off of that purple chocolatechip monti for you. I will PM you when its on something and growing.
  19. Mostly brown stuff. The macro is allmost getting out of hand. Ok that din't work. How do I get my pics from photobucket on here?
  20. Grats I think on the new job. now you get less tanks and fewer kids to talk to and more parents to deal with. Best of luck, and your coldwater tank was darn nice to see.
  21. There is two ways to have them set up. If you trip the GFCI and all the plugs go dead then they all should be protected by the GFCI. If you trip the GFCI and all the plugs after it are still on then there not protected by the GFCI and only the GFCI is. But I am only a carpenter that knows just enough to get myself into trouble. Maybe a real Electrician will chim in.
  22. I have one thats full size I need to trade. He is just to much of a pig for me to target feed my corals. PM me if you havent got any yet. I know you wanted some of them zoa's I have as well.
