That's crazy that you tank was able to be on that stand for 8 years! I wouldn't think that it would hold it at all without any bracing on it at all!

I also have a a set up, but would need a new reflectors on it. It is a electronic ballest, but it was a kit that I ordered and made myself. I ran it for about 1 1/2 years with no problems. I don't use it at all so I would be willing to part with it for just a few nicer frags.

I have some really nice super pink birdsnest that I would be willing to frag a bit for trade. I also have some Fire and Ice zoo frags.

Wondering what your looking for in trade for the acro? I wish I could just give you money for it, but I've reached my limit for frags this month. Otherwise I think your prices are more than fair.

I agree with Miles on this tv. But if your tv is going to be used for blue ray movies I would go with 1080p. Most of the time you won't need 1080p, but when you do it's worth the extra money! My next buy is a ps3 for the blue ray player in it. It's a plus that it's an awesome game console as well. Now that the price has come down on them I think it's the best way to go for a blue ray player. They have the best refresh rate of any BR on the market. That way you get to see what your tv was really made for at it's best! Easiest way for me to get the wife to agree to getting another game console too!(clap)

Always loved the idea of doing a cold water tank. I think that will be my next tank when I have $$ and time to do it right!

I was wondering the same thing. I was under the impression that you couldn't harvest anything. I have friends that live over at the coast and I was talking to them about doing a cold water and just diving with them, and they told me that you can't harvest around here. I know people do it, but I don't think I have the guts to do it and knowing my luck I would get caught!

Oh and put a little cheto in the tank so they have a place to hang out!

If you have an established enough tank you should be able to just by one bottle and then they should breed in your tank. Just make sure that you look after a month or two to make sure you still have some. The mandarins have a fierce appetite and wipe out a good amount pretty quick!

I have heard of them and I bet you get them from a to t lamps! Right now I have 10k and it's to white for me plus I would like to see more color.

I bet it's your setting. Go into your formatting and set what it's set at. When you bought the tv it came with the default setting so unless you go in and change it it will still look like your watching a older tv. Make sure that your format setting if on full.

What kind of bulbs are you using? That's a huge difference in the par! Right now I don't have reading for my bulbs, but looking at the Phoenix bulbs the hit right between 400-500 for the depth that I have. The other thing I really like about the Phoenix bulbs is the blue that they give off. Like I said I have an easy adjustable lighting system so I can play with it so see what works best in my tank.

The other thing to think about when your decided between plasma and LCD is look at it from the sides. Most people just look at the screen head on when there at the store, but you need to look at it from the sides. Most people look at the tv from an angle at home (at least some of the time) and you lose a lot of the picture with LCD. That or it warps the image or you lose it altogether. So when your buying make sure you look at it from a side angle that you will have at home.

Most of the time plasma is better, but they have started coming out with LCD's that are really nice as well. Panasonic makes a really nice LCD that I almost bought. I just couldn't pass up the deal I got on mine.
