I've been looking with the little extra time I had today and can't figure it out. You know it's a odd fish when the forum can't give you the answer!

When you see it up close it does have a Blenny look to it. When I first saw it I thought Blenny family.

I can go back to the store and get a new one if I want, but I don't want to kill another one.

The midas "sleeps" at the bottom of the tank while the starry slept on top of a rock. I might have a predator that I don't know about, but my midas is well behaved.

I watched that. The MB made no attempt to go near it. I have a 100 gallon tank and the blennies were staying opposite sides. I guess it could have happened when I went to bed, but of all my fish the MB was one of the newer additions and stays in a very small corner of the tank. the LMB's I had before I had the MB and they were the only B;enny in the tank at the time.

I forgot to mention that I have a Midas Blenny that is doing great, but my partner thinks it's a creepy fish! She would be happy if the tank was full of the ugliest fish she could find!

Ok so I went to may favorite store and ordered a starry blenny. I get home I acclimate him to the water and put him in the tank. I know the store I went to fed him before I got him. They put him in a holding tank for a week before I got him, and I know he was in good health. I had the fish for a 1 1/2 days and I went to look for him and find him being eaten by my shrimp! I don't know what it is, but I can't keep a blenny in my tank. I have a lot of other fish that are much harder to keep and have no problems with them. Why is it that I can't keep them. I have had two LMB's die and now the starry one. I tested my water, I even went to aqua serene and tested my water against theirs and it all checks out. What gives???? My partner really likes them and wants one in the tank but I won't buy anymore if I'm just going to kill them. I get to sad every time one goes. (scratch)

Another thing to try is citrus to cut through it. It should help break down the sugar. I would by a little thing of lemon or lime juice and then pour it into a thing cold water. Let it sit in there for a day and it should help.

Loved it! I was actually just talking to a friend that's new to reef systems about how much has changed since I've been into it. I can't say that I've been in it for too long just a little over 12 years (off and on) and corals that people buy now are sooo much different than back then. I can't believe the prices for frags now!

They don't send or receive picture messages. Why don't they have an app for that?

Lol I can focus the camera more on your fish and less on your scratches! Maybe people can see some of your corals that way!

I love it! I'm still thinking of picking up the T5 fixture this weekend just to have. It didn't take all that much work to get the other lights running just a little elbow grease. The color in my tank is awesome now!
