Did none of you stop by the Reef Corals booth? I saw all the other booths mentioned. Reef Corals did have the largest selection of corals out of the entire show, plus lots of small colonies. I know i had to bag them all! lol

I have for sale a current usa sunpod HQI system with a 14k 70 watt halide (3 months run time on light) 6 white leds and 6 blue leds Hood is 20" long has built in fan and seperate controls for the halide, blue leds, and white leds. I have used the hood for 1 year, its in great shape, no scratches, dings etc. Can provide hanging brackets also if you want them. This light hood works perfect over 24 gallon aquapod, great upgrade if you want to get away from the power compacts Im asking 150.00 or best offer Roy

Ok, so after two years of running my 24g nano im ready to add one fish. What do you guys suggest? I dont want it to exceed 3" in size, it shouldnt be a jumper (tank is open top) Needs to be reef safe... and hopefully not a micro-invert eater. That rules out wrasses. I was thinking along the lines of a cardinal fish or goby of some type????(scratch)

Usually after your tank cycle is done. The amount of calcium available is a big factor also, if you have fast growing corals in there, they will use it before the algae does. I have also noticed that the 'purple' grows best under subdued lighting (ie not metal halides) where as the pink seems to grow under any type of light. In my tank with my 250w halide the purple actually died back some, but the pink grows just fine My tank with the 70w halide grows the purple and pink just fine.... just my observation
