  3. Hi Guys Im putting together a 125 gallon tank with a 55 gallon sump. The sump is a 55 acrylic tank, so no problems drilling or gluing in partitions. I was wondering if you all have any good suggestions of how it should function. My idea was have one end with the return lines into a filter sock, along with the skimmer located there. Create some baffles then into a algae filter area, some more baffles, then carbon and phosphate remover and then the return line. What do you guys think? roy
  4. that is a large brittle star arm, hes a good 12" from tip to tip. I do water changes every 3 weeks (25%) only fish is a hectors goby which ive had for about 3 months now
  5. Here is my other tank. It is a 29 gallon AGA. No external filtration, just doing liverock and sand. Currently the tank has been running for about 8 months now. It started out as an over stock tank from my 24 gallon and has taken on a life of it's own. I have a 70w 20k halide over it with blue and white leds. roy
  6. I think this is a great idea too. I would like to know what members are close to me to do trading, see their tanks, etc

  19. It took about a year to grow that size (7" wide by 5" tall and comes out about 4") orange plating montis like that grow fast. The frag originally came from Upscales. Very fast growing one. Under bright light it gets a nice pinkish rim Ill post some more pics later of the whole setup, so you guys can see the light hood, etc. roy
  20. I glued a 1" x 1" frag on the wall and it grew from there, alas as dsoz says it will be hard to get it off if i need to drain the tank
  21. I love your rock idea that is sweet. Im going to copy it I have a 125 gallon im setting up and want to do 2 rock spires one on each end with an arch connecting the two rock towers roy
  22. Hi all Here are pics of my 24 gallon. It has been up and running for about 2 years now. I dont run a skimmer, but i do a 25% water change every 2 weeks. That seems to keep everything going good. Right now the biggest issue is keeping up with fragging the corals. I have let a few grow into each other just to see which one will be dominate. The lighting over the tank is a 250w sunpod halide system. Enjoy Roy
  23. Hi All Some of you may have already seen this, but for the rest these are my pics i took diving while in Fiji a couple of months ago. Enjoy!! http://s268.photobucket.com/albums/jj20/stylaster/ Roy
