POTM I do not know how I can compete with the amazing pics on here but I am finally posting some of my tank!!!! So here is my best shot!!!!!!

MH bulb I'll take the 14K bulb. I need to meet up with you about the macro again too...... Maybe after the BBQ sometime if you are not to bussy. Monday is my daughters birthday so I will be bussy pretty much all day but if needed I could meet up with you in the evening or something.

5.5 gal glass The petco in tualatin always has them... Did you try World of wet pets in beaverton? I think petco in tualatin was cheaper though. Maybe they would even do it for the $1 gal sale?????

For all those who are wanting those hard to find 40 gallon breeders. I have called all the petcos within 30 miles of me and nobody has them on sale. It looks like they are not included in the sale........(sad):eek:

I have an old seaclone skimmer that I bought used. The maxijet on it quit a while ago so I bought a new skimmer. I am going to need for another tank now and when I went to take the fitting off the maxijet to put a new pump on I found the guy had glued it onto the old pump!!! DUMB @*%!!!! So now I need to find a new fitting to attch the skimmer to the pump. If anybody has a seaclone laying around there not using or is broken let me know I'll buy the part or the whole thing from you!!! Or even if you have an extra skimmer laying around, I cannot afford much but let me know what you've got and how much. Thanks Amanda

My sister has fleas now in her house thanks to a new kitten she brought home. She is wanting to let off flea bombs in her house to help get rid of them. I told her not to untill I got some advice about if from the forum..... She currently has a 55 gal reef tank I setup I am taking care of. Is it possible to let off the bombs with the tank and if so what do I have to do????? Thanks

Waves Go to waves link from the forum and give him a call he has a web site and does ship!!!! He is a great guy and a pleasure to work with!!! I am a frequent customer!!!! Always been very pleased with his service, advice and livestock!!!! Only pissed off when he runs out of pre mixed saltwater and I am too lazzy(whistle) to mix my own for a water change!!!!:p

First of all I have a question..... Didn't aqua cultured coral once come from the wild? Maybe a frag way back but it still had to have come from the wild right??? I am all for helping support our local farmer and helping save the reefs by growing out our own corals and fragging them to off for sale or trade. I think a CFM is a great idea but I do not ever remember paying more than about $10 for any fair, circus, or carnival to get in and most farmers markets do not charge you an entry fee! I think $30 at the door to get is rediculous!!!! and $15 is a bit much. I was diappointed in how small it really was. I know how much work goes into getting those frags ready for sale believe me I do! I helped Scott at Reef Corals for 2 days fragging and then bagging up corals to get him ready for this event! I guess I was just expecting that with how much work goes into all of it, the CFM would be a bigger event like an expo or something. Why can't we make it bigger next year??? I really think we should be able to include a lot more aspects of reef keeping. We should sell booths to people who want to make their own equipment and such, sumps, overflow boxes, skimmers, etc...... We should allow some of the local companies such as Envision to be there talking about his tanks he build if he wants to. It should be all about reefs by all means but why not encorporate more stuff as well..... People who have lare tank and want to sell/trade frags from their own tanks.......?????? I was just disappointed because I had visions of something larger I guess, something that it could be!!!!! I really think the possibilities should be discussed at the upcoming meeting and lets work on planning a blowout sized event for next year!!!! And really get the word out to all over!! send flyers to local stores as well as stores across the northwest. I know there are events such as this in cali. and else where but we should make this a big event for PNWMAS and other local area clubs to bring people into all aspects of reefing!!!! I will pass on my soap box now and I am sorry if I came off as B@%*#, and offended anyone.................DOH!

CFM I have to say that this is the first 1 that I have gone to and boy was I disappointed! $15 just to get in about $30 in gas to get there and there is a better selection of coral at waves!!! or Upscales which are near my house!!! By the time you are paying for entry fee $15-$30, plus gas I should have just went over and visited Joel!!!! I was expecting more venders and more a little more selection. Maybe next year will be better.........(bored)

Too bad Thats to bad, I love mine and so does my daughter.... Dorry you know!!!! I have not had any trouble with mine though, he even swims next to my b.clowns frequently like they are talking or something(laugh). A few times he even looked like he was going to try to swim into my RBTA!!!!!!(nutty)(nono) I am starting the wonder if he thinks he is a clown!!!!!(scratch)
