to all replys I will try to get some pics of him tonight. They get to ba about the size of guinie pigs As we all know how many people buy pets without first doing research. Exotic animals even as misunderstood as a hedgehog need specialized care. They kept him in a plastic tub with cat litter for go knows how long. He is full grown and I have no idea how old he actually is, nor do I care. He was very under weight, cold and sick when I got him. His ears were rotted off from living in the wet catlitter for so long in the amonnia. I have had him for about 1.5yrs now and he has changed dramatically. It was very tough touch and go for almost a month. He battled with resperitory infections and being handled. He was wild when I got him, you couldn't pick him up without getting stabbed. He even slept in my bed with me a few nights under the covers cause he was so cold and weak.....(nutty) Hedgehogs really are very amazing social creatures with proper care and nutrition they can make wonderful pets.... I now have Hedgy as he is named so calm I took him to my daughters preschool class this last fall for sharingDOH! 15 little 5 year olds and a hedgehog what a mix. But he did amazing and not 1 single kid got poked at all by his quills!(clap). Anyway to end this story now that is healthy and moving around I want to upgrade his digs....Litteraly:D I am doing something nobody else does with their hedgehogs..... Giving him a natural earth to dig in, for bugs that is. I want him to have more room to move around and a bigger tank to do deeper dirt for him to borrow in. Anyway, I may have a 55 gallon but I thank everyone for their posts. They are all a little more than I was looking for. I am hoping for a tank around $50 that is not quite as large as 125....... I need a bigger tank for my hedgehog. I do not care if it is pretty and it doesn't have to have good seals since it won't have to hold water. I have him in a 20 long right now and would like something bigger. prefer 55 tank glass or acrylic either 1. It could be a large rodent cage for like ferrets also. Also check the tank show off as I am doing water change tonight and will get some good pics tomorrow night to show tank since I moved it...... some pics These are the pink and blue/purple shrooms. Please keep in mind they are horrible pics and do not show good color but they are all I have at the moment. I am gona try to get some new pics tonight and will get them on in the next couple of days. also if you look at my new pics please know that the bulb I have on the tank is a brand new 400 watt MH the color has not even had time to adjust. My boyfriend accidently knocked into my light fixture and it went in the tank and the bulb shattered(enforcer). which also broke some corals.... (flame) Which is why I have frags to trade....DOH! First pic is pinks in actinics second is the blue third is a pink and a red in the shade (sorry about the blur)

PC Light How many watts each? I am definatly interested but no zoos to trade right now...... I lost almost all my zoos with an astrea star outbreak. They ate all my zoos! A couple I have left are slowly recovering now thanks to my quick work of my harlequin shrimp.......All I have for trade is SPS at this point. How much in Cash?

upscales Upscales has some nice ones in when I was there last weekend. Don't know if they were tank bred or but if you are worried about them living, I got my three from them in the last batch they got in. they have been having good luck with them. I drilled several employees and all said they lost 1 in the first day and the rest were doing well. My 3 I have had for about 3 weeks and are doing out standing. I know tank bred is always better but they are so hard to come by these days I have been waiting for whatever I could get. Mine have even paired off I think and they are pretty young. They are only $18 each or if you buy 3 they are $15. Good Luck in your search.......

LIVE ROCK Not be the one bring this up but since nobody else has..... Rock sold as LIVE ROCK should be wet and full of live bacteria when you get it... If its bone dry then its dead rock! It should be cycled to create a living microphona of bacteria. If the rock has no living saltwater organism on it then how can it be living????? Just curious........

update sorry it took so long to post update been very busy and no time to get to a computer. Purple tang was sold....Thanks John, hope he made the trip home ok and is doing well in your tank. Firefish are going to go to Rose City tomorrow so if you still want them then you will have to go there to get em. I am going to ask Nick to try to sell them together since they are a breeding. I hate to have them separated but I need them out of the tank asap so I can go pick up my other fish and so the other firefish will be able to eat! It is very frustrating when you are trying to sell stuff n this forum and you have person after person tell you they want them then change there mind last minute. I have had problems getting to a computer due to my busy schedual which is why I posted phone number and asked for you to call me. If you are not serious about buying something then do not ask for it! I understand things happen sometimes but I had multiple people calling me and pm me about the firefish and about the purple tang and I had a bunch of people blow me off. It is very frustrating.......... I just want to voice my opinion. If you are not 100% sure about buying something then do not ask for that thing to be held and set a date and time for it to be picked up then cancel the morning of! I am sorry to all who showed interest and would have been serious about buying one of the things I had for sale and missed out.

Anyone in the Tigard, Beaverton, sherwood area have a large garbage can they use for water changes that is clean I could borrow for the weekend? I am moving my tanks this weekend to the new house and want to have 50% new water sitting at new house ready to go into tank when I get it there. I am hoping to do this quick and smooth to avoid to much disruption to the bacteria. A small cycle would be ok, I can treat with weekly water changes. A crash would kill me as I am getting my coral collection going again! anyway I don't have enough water jugs to do this but a garbage can would really help. $125OBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally I made up mind to sell my 55 gal tank. Is acrylic, drilled in top left and right of back for a closed loop or hook up a magnum or canister filter..... There are some scratches on the inside front. nothing to deep from the mag-float getting sand in it....THEY ARE BARELY NOTICABLE WITH WATER IN THE TANK! Gotta love kids! Will buff out easily. Stand is oak and needs a good cleaning, canopy is pine but stained to be very close to the color of the stand. Canopy was just built a few weeks ago and was built with quality materials and is VERY water proof! cost me little over $65 in supplies alone. Included is the lighting already mounted in the canopy or I can remove it! --4 bulb 48" VHO, 2 white, 2 actinic. White bulbs will need replaced in a couple of months. Includes an extra bulb. Oh and just in case you didn't understand I meant the ballast also. I am going to order some cleaners for my tanks from www.reefscavengers.com in the next week or so and if the total is $150+ then next day shiping is only $19.99 so I thought I would see if anyone else wants to order anything in a group buy. I can have them delivered to my work so I can get them and keep them temp adjusted till you could get there to get them. I work in portland. Just let me know. I can pay for small things myself and you can pay me on pickup, but if you have an order over $25 I am gona ask that I get payment before hand just so I have some insurance you are gona pick up what you buy and not foot me with the bill! I am even willing to pay the full cost of shipping since I would be doing the order anyway! I have e-mailed reef scavengers and I will just have to give them a call or e-mail them after the order is placed to break down the order for them and they can break the order up. However if we seperate ourselves they will ensure to include a few extras of each to cover DOAs so whatever we want to is fine. I do not care either way, let me know what works best for you.
