or ozone. I run ozone on my tank full time and the water seems to be as clear coming out as when it goes in.

go with a MSX extreme 250... for less than $400 shipped you have a skimmer that will skim the crap out of your 125, literally! They are pre-ordering the mini cones which will be powered by the same pumps the msx 250 for $499. The cones are definately winning the skim-offs lately when they are put head to head with traditional. I haven't heard anything about msx stopping meshing their wheels. Mike

Thanks Andy, I'll let you know when my tank is looking "particularly" good. I am switching out to Radiums today so I need to let them burn in for a week or two, but after that, I would really appreciate it. I have tried to shoot with a nikon D70, but had horrible results and couldn't get the white balance right.

No, I haven't had time to make a thread....Hey I think Andy owes me a favor for letting him use my par meter. Maybe he should come and take pics of my setup so they look all professional and stuff,lol. I can't for the life of me get any good pics, white balance is all off. I need to start shooting raw and shell out for photoshop and start editing that way, I think thats what alot of the good photogs do. A pond pump should work just fine to circulate the water. Mike

could those of you that say that the water changes "upset" the tank post what type of salt they are using, maybe there is a pattern. Anytime I have done a large water change, everything looks great after.

Your welcome to come and see my system if your ever up in my area. I wouldn't heat the water either. My 160g storage tank is in my garage and is circulated at all times with a reeflo dart. Your only going to be adding about 200ml to the tank every 9 minutes or so with the LMIII...I cant see even the coldest 200mls of water having ANY effect on aprox 900 gallons, lol. You wont regret the litermeters, one of the best investments I have made (and I have 6 of them now,lol!) mike

I know! Just a few weeks ago I was in the shop saying it wasn't going to make it. I'm still not holding my breath but it is a good sign. I did end up moving it from a barebottom tank to a small 70 gallon cube with a shallow sandbed and it appears to have burried its foot in the sand. It moved around the same round rock several times but has stayed in the same spot for about a week now.

Sorry to hear... How is my former fish eater doing? Suprisingly my red one has taken a turn for the better and has now been fully inflated for a couple of weeks with its mouth tightly closed. I tried to feed it for the first time in about a month and its feeding response was great! Maybe this one wants to live after all...

I have been running the 12k reeflux and just recently purchased the new 20k reeflux but it looks identical to the 12k, so I'm gonna go with radium from now on.

yah, I'll let you know how they look, should be a good comparison too because I too am running 2 72" and 2 24" VHO actinich supplementation.
