  1. marine depot has them on sale for 71.99 each right now, best I could find. I saw them for a little over $60 a few months back and wished I would have ordered then. Hey michael, what ballasts are you running?
  2. LOL...I was like how did I miss this! I just ordered 3 brand new 400w radiums today, lol.
  3. Yes, I use 2 litermeter III pumps, one to pump in from a 160 gallon reservoir (I picked that size because that is about how much a full bucket of salt makes) and one to pump out of the sump and to a sink. I have a garage sump and utility sink so it is pretty easy. Just make up water about every 1&1/2 months and pour a bucket of salt in. I have a latching relay set up with solenoid on my RO/DI unit so I turn it on when my reservoir is empty and it turns itself off when it is full. This tank has by far been the easiest to maintain (over 400gallons in total) out of the many tanks I have had. If I ever get some time I'll post up some pics of the setup that spans 2 floors and a subfloor of my 3 story townhouse.
  4. 100ml every 9.6 minutes or 4 gallons a day each and every day.
  5. I was about to put in an order for a 5 gallon of alk, calcium, magnesium, and some GFO and carbon. Maybe they will give us a deal if we all purchase together. Mike
  6. How about $200 for the skimmer. Don't make me list this on reef central and ship it, lol. This skimmer pulls between 30-50scfh of air with less than 30 watts! Mine out of the box ran at 19 watts on my kill-a-meter! Mike
  7. I was thinking it would look best at a upscale kind of place, lol. Pump and Sump SOLD
  8. The return is about 12-1300 gallons/hr, so it would work great for a 120. I could sell the sump without the ATO if you want and work you a deal if you want to buy the sump and the pump. Oh, there is only one sock holder on the inflow side... I have added a shelf made of eggcrate in the other inflow area to hold another sock. The sump is being taken offline this saturday, so I could get some pics for you once it has been cleaned. Mike
  9. Ok, I have another item for sale. It is the sump from this thread http://pnwmas.org/forums/showthread.php?t=6825 The sump calculates out to about 55 gallons and has a place for skimmer, and a fuge area. I'll throw in an auto topoff unit with dual switches with holders built to fit this tank and a auto lifter or maxi pump. This unit has a relay and uses 12V to activate the switches for added safety. (a $75 value) $150 I also have a couple of Bulk Reef Supply GFO/Carbon reactors that sell for $40 a piece online. $40 for the pair Feel free to make offers on any of the other equipment, they will be going on reefcentral this weekend if they haven't sold. Later Mike
  10. Hi all I have decided to simplify my systems and run them together from the same sump, so I have a bunch of lightly used equip for sale. 1st. **SOLD** I have a 60"Lx20"Wx12"T 1" thick rimless frag tank built by james at envision. This tank is flawless and will make a great frag tank. Here is the thread where I purchased it and a picture of it setup. http://pnwmas.org/forums/showthread.php?t=7669 asking SOLD and includes a stand...just what I paid for it. The acrylic alone would be much more than this! 2nd I have a MSX extreme 200 skimmer that I have been using on my 70 gallon cube for about a month. This thing kicks *** and I shouldn't sell it, but I want to upgrade my reeflo orca 250 so this will just collect dust. Has both the needle and meshwheels and will skim over 100gallons of water easy! Paid almost $300 for it, will take $225. Still looks brand new but is broken in and skimming great! 3rd I have a remora skimmer with maxijet 1200. $75 4th I have a Panworld 100px-x pressure rated pump. This is similar to an iwaki and really pushes the water around. Used for about a month, looks brand new $100 5th I have a Geo Kalk reactor. Replaced the pump on it about 3 month ago and have upgraded the fittings to john guest style. $175 I am located in Vancouver and have dealt with several people on this board if you need any references. Thanks Mike
  11. The clowns never even gave the nem a second look after they found the toadstool and hammer coral. I swear these are the laziest clowns I've ever seen, what did you teach them? LOL. The male just lays in the hammer and doesn't move (except for food). Rough life, lol! Glad its doing good for you david.
  12. Sold thanks David! Your money ended up in Joel's hands after you left, lol! Be careful with it, it likes the taste of expensive fish! Mike
  13. Hello, I have a bright fluorescent green haddoni for sale. It is about 12" when fully expanded. I have had this carpet for about 4 months now and it is bullet proof. during the first month, it wandered into a tunze pump and I had to cut it in half to get it out of the pump. Since then I left it in my sump for dead, but it has fully healed and is now in my 70 gallon cube doing great! I payed $100 for it but am willing to hear offers. It just is too much risk for my small tank, 30" square, and the final straw was my fighting my new achilles tang out of it. (admittedly I had just added the tang and the tang was distracted by its own reflection in the glass.) Let me know if your looking for a carpet, these can be hard to get accustom to tank life and I was told that this one was a trade in from another tank when I purchased it at Waves. Mouth is tight and I have never seen this anemone deflate (I have another red carpet that deflates regularly for unknown reasons) Mike I am located in Vancouver on the West side and will be around all weekend.
  14. I too think BJ will give him a run for his money, but in the end they are fighting at 170 and BJ really is a 155'er. But don't count BJ out, I hope he surprises us.
  15. They hate them because they are a scam, pure and simple.
  16. hocus pocus http://www.rexgrigg.com/debunked.htm
  17. get some harlequins, they will take care of them in short order
  18. Any way to add a set of picassos to your order travis?
  19. Waves has a bunch in stock, not sure on price though.
