I keep my power head, and a backup heater connected to my batteries. That way if I lose power, the vital stay on until I make it home. With just one power head, and a heater, the backup will last a lot longer.

That is one slick overflow. If I had to go out the back of the tank, that would be the ticket.

For me, I prefer internal overflows. I would rather sacrifice the space inside, and be able to put the tank tight against the wall. Then I don't ever have to deal with a problem back there. Just my preference,

Thank you Brian for the offer. I think the light from Andrew should be enough to tide the tank over until the custom fixture arrives. If everything goes well it will be back on Wednesday or Thursday.

Heaters are needed, at least in the winter. Ehiem hooked to my controller keeps the tank at 79.5 day and night.

Does anyone have a light they could loan me for a week or so? I have to send me lights to be worked on. I just found out it will take until next friday, and I'm sending them out tomorrow. It is for a 34g cube, and I need just enough to keep them alive. I would be happy to pay for it, or trade you in corals. Thank you

I'll snap some pictures, and send them to both of you. Something pretty simple prefer a more modern look to match the rest of the house. Either replacing the current paneling, so more of a skin, or a complete new stand. Either works for me, and depends on what is suggested by someone more knowledgeable than myself. I bought the tank in the classifieds that is 30"x30", but the stand is 40"x30"x43"(LxWxH). It holds a 40g breeder, hence the larger size.

I am looking to have a custom stand built, or at the very least, new outside paneling. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks, JR

1 colony gone. 2 frags are pending. Also open to trades.

Tried to edit my post but it is locked. 2 3"-4" colonies 10+ heads - $40 each 3 3"-3.5" frags 5+ heads- $20 each 3 1.5"-2" frags 2-3 heads - 10 each I'm negotiable since I don't have the space. Some pics below.

I need to frag down my colony, it isn't getting good flow in the center and is growing like a weed. It has put on 1-2" in the last 2 months. The frags will be between 4"-6" a piece and will have many heads. I think it should be about 4-5 frags. Below is the picture of the whole colony doesn't show the color because my phone just can't take decent pictures. it is about 8-9" wide. I'm only keeping one 4" branch. If only it was that easy. My onyx clowns have no idea what to do with my 6" BTA. I swear they enjoy toying with my emotions. The other day the female was just casually swimming through it, but nope didn't want to stay there....ugh.
