***Price drop to $300.00*** -
I have a Pacific Coast CL650 chiller for sale that is almost new. This was used for a few months before the system was taken down. I have a submersible pump to go along with it so you only need some hose and your'e done. If I remember correctly, this will drop a 180 gallon system 10 degrees and obviously it will drop a smaller system even more. I would like $350 for the combo which is more than fair. Please let me know if you have any questions. Sincerely, Jason SULLY736@HOTMAIL.COM

Lots and lots of flow! My experience with the light doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Flow and food seem to be what makes all the difference.

LOOK AT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SULLY replied to SULLY's topic in General Discussion
Well, unless the undercover police officer is lying, I don't think there is much to wonder about. This is not something surprising to me at all. It has been know for a LONG time that he has a thing for females and there is nothing wrong with that until you cross the line. When you are a business owner or even an employee, you are under the microscope more than if you were some joe blow walking through the mall and grabbed someone's butt. I know alot of people who will not take their wife or girlfriend into his establishment because of his actions. People who know me already are aware of my feelings towards this business anyways, this just validates my point that much more! -

I think the proof is there. It is one thing to have someone accuse of something that you may or may have not done. But when the accuser is an undercover police officer, you are pretty much done! -
Just thought this should be posted. I know the storm of poo this is going to cause, but what else is new. On Thursday, June 18, 2009, at about 4:30 p.m., Albany Police Detectives took 64-year old Albany resident, Ralph Hawthorne, into custody on 3 counts of Sex Abuse in the Third Degree. Ralph Hawthorne was taken into custody at his business, Amazing Aquarium, located at 1237 SE 9th Avenue following the execution of a search warrant at the location. Ralph Hawthorne was cited and released from the Linn County Jail on the Sex Abuse charges. The investigation began on June 11, 2009, after an adult female reported that she had been subjected to sexual contact by Roger Hawthorne when she was a patron at Amazing Aquarium. During the week of June 15, 2009, a second adult female reported that she also had been subjected to sexual contact by Roger Hawthorne when she was a patron at Amazing Aquarium. Following this a female police officer, working under cover, posed as a patron at Amazing Aquarium. During her time in the business she reported that she too was subjected to sexual contact by Roger Hawthorne. Investigators have reason to believe that additional women may have been touched inappropriately while at Amazing Aquarium. Anyone with any information at all is asked to contact Albany Police Detectives at 541-917-7686.

It is metric. You can take the female piece of the fitting and sand out the inside some so the regular pvc will fit. People do it all the time.

Downhill's 200g Starfire Marineland Deep Dimension
SULLY replied to downhill_biker's topic in Tank Threads
Keep in mind guys what is being built. I know it is hard to not want to build this thing like you would build a house. But take a look at any factory manufactured aquarium stand and see how it's built. Even on the big tanks there are usually nothing more than 3/4' plywood with a finished side to look nice. I know I have looked at alot of those stands and said to myself, [language filter], how the hell is that piece of flimsy crap going to hold all that weight. But they always do. So don't smack your head against the wall too hard Curtis trying to figure a way to make this thing like steel. Keep it basic and make it look how you want it to and just take your time. Even the stands I have at the store are way over built for what they need to be. It was just easier and faster at the time to use the 2x4 and the 2x6's. I don't know if you have access to a welder or even know how to weld. But you could do a simple frame out of box steel and then skirt the outside with the wood of your choice. Just a thought. I have a cheesy idea. Take two stands for a 75 or 90 gallon tank and put them back to back. wallaw, problem solved. Just kidding. I wish the manufactures would make the stands taller. I have no idea why they always make them between 28-30 inches. I like them at least 36" or more. Good luck to you brother! -
This makes my reef tank look like a goldfish bowl

After watching his goldflake angel rip up some of the softies, I was waiting for the pretty little booger to go eat his coco worms. What the heck kinda tangs were the funky colored ones? Beautiful set-up. -
Hey Finch6013. You will have to swing by my shop someday. You have the same interest I do. I am also on the Northwest site. Sorry Garrett, not trying to hijack your thumbs up brother.
-
Not to hijack the thread, but how did your new goodies fair out after gluing multiple polyps down one at a time? Sorry, this was addressed to Twogirls.

Looking for a new or used 72" hanging light fixture
SULLY replied to Queen Angel's topic in Want to Buy / Trade
The only 72" T5 fixture is the Nova Extreme Pro from Current USA. Or I should say the only one that is out there that is half way descent quality. Even at cost, it is going to be more than you want to spend. And they have not been out long enough to have a bunch of used ones for sale yet. It might work out better to do a 72" fixture with (4) of the 96 watt pc bulbs. There is a few good companies that make those and there is a much better chance of finding a used on of those than of the T5 fixture. I urge you to exercise caution on a used one with the bulb life. It seems like alot of people advertise their used fixture with relatively NEW bulbs in it. Just be careful (fingers) Jason
