  1. Thank you. I have a $100.00 into this guy which is a smoking deal. I am not looking to make anything above that. He is a beautiful fish. Thanks, Jason
  2. I have a very large queen trigger that needs a new home. He is about 12" from nose to the tip of the tail. He needs a large aquarium. Let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks, Jason
  3. I have them at the shop also. I use the plastic ones that look like a credit card that way they don't get ruined like the paper ones do. Jason
  4. They are a freshwater fish wholesaler. They have been in business for many years.
  5. I use them here at the store and have no complaints. They just flat out get it on. I have no problem whatsoever backing these recirc models. And like Brian said, we have them on our systems, so if want to see one work, come on by. Jason
  6. That makes me want to do impure things to myself.
  7. What's the matter Blaine, you don't like the cheap ones? HA, HA ,HA ,HA. Just kidding man. We all make super expensive mistakes once and awhile. Jason
  8. I have had some on order for a little while now and i just have not received them yet. I will call on Monday and try to get an ETA. Jason
  9. You need to make sure on what generation test kit it is. The directions changed not too long ago. I hope you read this in time. Jason
  10. I appreciate everyones input good and bad. You guys need to let me know who you are when you come to the store so i can give you the discount for being members. It might not always be a huge discount, but it will still save you some $. And just to talk on a touchy subject a little. There is not as much mark up in livestock that some of you might think. I have heard the complaints about things being more money than what people thought they were going to be. The cost of everything continues to rise as well as the shipping. You now pay a fuel surcharge to the airlines for your shipments as well as the raw cost of the shipping has gone up also. And the cost of the animals have also gone up because of the wholesaler having to pay the same cost on shipping from the collection stations from all over the world. And sometimes as a store owner you just have to pay more for somethings because one wholesaler might have it and none of the others do. I have paid anywhere from $50 - $85 for pink or red yumas just because of there lack of availability. So to pay that and turn around and sell them for $100, you are not making anything especially after shipping and box charge and heat/ice packs and time and gas to go to and from the airport. Not to mention if you lose some to death in the shipment. But sometimes as a store owner you end up taking those losses just so you can have cool inventory in the store. So please just kinda keep that in the back of your heads about all of the cost involved in getting just one fish or coral to our stores so you guys can have a nice selection of stuff to choose from. Sincerely, Jason
  11. MBEEF1, give me a call if you don't mind about your experience you had at my shop. I talked with Brian(the kid) who was here that day and received a little different story. Also on the pricing situatiuon. I do not write the prices on the tanks because i think it takes away from the appearance of the animals you are looking at to buy. I will not go off on a tangent about your reference to me trying to read you to price it, but i will tell you that it offends me. My livestock is priced lower than any of the other local shops including the portland area. And last but not least. As a shop owner you can not always be at the store 24 hours a day. We are open 7 days a week for what i would consider, longer hours than most of the other stores. Sometimes you have to leave to get things done from time to time. And even if your help is not 100% up to speed on everything, sometimes you have no choice but to leave them on their own. That is why when there is a question on pricing or identification, they call the owner to find out the correct info. So i can understand if Brian didn't know the prices on some of the things you might have been asking about, but select your wording a little better when you talk about an experience at someone's store meaning (the help didn't know what anything is or any prices). You guys seem to forget that just by misswording something like that can be damaging to someone's business whether it's intentional or not. Thanks, Jason (Coral Reef Pet Center)
