Welcome New "TOAD" Glad to have ya. It is a hard decision on what size tank to get. Everybody wants a bigger tank. I would suggest going as large as possible. The MarineLand tanks are very nice with the crystal clear glass. I have a 210 ALL GLASS( by the way they are on sale at the wholesalers) with a 75 as the sump. I would like to go with 500, but am looking into the 300 Marinel and with Starfire glass. Always buy bigger than you need You will save a lot of money in the long run. A 6 foot long 90 gal tank takes the same lighting as a 300 gal. .

Well this is not new I hate to say. On a LOT smaller item. (Value) I brought Tubes in there boxes, of ICE-GEL. Super glue from BSI. To a past meeting. I was only selling them for $10 bucks. I counted several times the number I was coming with to the meeting. I did sell some but with my paranoia I have I tried to keep an eye on the box, with the boxes. When I was closer to the tank in the front, I say a gentleman take one and head out the garage instantly. I didn't know who it was as it was soooo fast. I went to look but he was gone. (meeting was ending) My point is the world has changed and will never be the same. I am a Real Estate Broker. I have to insist that my clients remove any cash, jewelry and guns that are not physically attached to them. Oh and meds to. I think I have them but bigger. They are under the rocks or come out at night. Kinda a leathery shell.I wondered at fist also. But I haven't seen any damage from them. Fresh water dip the zoo's

post a picture of your sump/skimmer. If skimmer in the sump pulls from it's own pump. You can shut down the tank, stirrup the sump and have the shimmer pull out the crap. Then water change the sump.
