Thanks Toad Fish. I think my return pump was way to high. It was pushing about 2100 gph at 4.5 feet, which is twice what the Reefer 450 calls for. I turned the pump down yesterday and think it's better. Do you have the 450?

I know the Red Sea Reefer tanks have been hugely popular lately. For those who have bought them, I'm curious how the overflow valve is working for you? I seem to have to slightly adjust might every day. I'm running a Jabeo DCT-12000 at 100% (which is about 1100 gallons at 4.5 feet), and a Gyre 150 (4 seconds on/off at 80%). The tank seems to need overflow adjustments everyday, either up or down. Anyone else? Shawn

Need to build a dyi screen cover for a Reefer 450. Ive heard people using screen dooer replacement parts, but where do I find 1/4 inch black screen?

I'm using a Brute 44 gallon trash can to mix saltwater. Any suggestions on a good powerhead or pump to stir the salt/water?

I bought the 450. Wow. I'm using a dc pump which is great. Dialing in the overflow isn't as tough as peolpe say.

My Nuvo 16 sprung a leak while on vacation! Lost nearly all fish. One little guy that made it was a tiger pistol shrimp who lived with a Wheelers Goby. I'm looking for a replacement Goby. If anyone has one, or knows of a local store with one, please let me know. Shawn P.S. DON'T trust Nuvo 16 tanks! After 12 months, mine leaked. Guess it's a known problem.
