  1. Im looking for people who have an excess amount of mushrooms, zoooanthids, sinularia or colt corals to donate or for a few bucks. if anyone also has damsels they want to get rid of, i will also be willing to take them off your hands... let me know!
  2. my tank is in shambles since i moved, i lost most of my livestock. but...its possible. put me down as a candidate.
  3. HEY! i just moved to the tigard area. i want to play with you kids too! let me know if theres another get together!
  4. great job wesley. i cant wait to see all your mangroves as trees. my mangroves did nothing for months until i put them in substrate. then they really took off. they grew even better when i started to spray their leaves down every other day. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006HBBF0/ref=s9_simp_gw_s5_p23_t1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-4&pf_rd_r=0VMVYK3QJHVHK1M0ZSJV&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470939031&pf_rd_i=507846 and get something like this for your electrical cords. it makes turning things on and off so much easier. and when you have them labeled, this will prevent disaster if youre ever on vacation and having to tell someone over the phone which cords to check or unplug.
  5. can anyone link me to the pic? i did a quick search and couldnt find it which one you were talking about....
  6. mexican turbos will do a phenomenal job. depending on the size of the tank, get several. typically one or two wont be able to tackle it. they do a far better job than any fish or urchin ive tried. they have consumed all the algae in any of the tanks ive used them in. but, youll have to get a handful. trade them back in to a store or donate them to someone else with the problem once all the algae is consumed, and it wont take long.
  7. i havent seen any either. thanks garrett!
  8. i need two of them. anyone have any?
  9. hey guys, thanks for the offers. but, its too late now. time to restart!
  10. i have some sps corals that are not very happy. they are bug free, worm free and plague free. would anyone in the local tigard tualatin area be willing to hold on to them until my new tank is set up?
  11. im looking for either a canister filter thats been laying around collecting dust or some freshwater gravel/sand/substrate. do you have either?
  12. i am considering relocating my fish tanks tomorrow morning, that is if i can get at least one other person to help. i have a truck, ill have the tools, just need an extra set of hands to help load and unload. im expecting the process to take between 2 and 4 hours. if you have time tomorrow morning, feel like some frags and some beer, please contact me. thanks!
  13. just based on the poor quality picture, i would venture a guess at a s. tapetum, or mini carpet anemone. as stated, a better quality picture would certainly help!
  14. such physically incredible animals. their colors and shape defy even imagination. and i wish David Attenborough would tell me bed time stories every night as i fall asleep.
  15. Hey there! I am moving in the next two weeks and considering using this opportunity to rebuild my tank stand. If any of you have experience in doing so, have the tools and would like to help me out and be paid, please contact me as soon as possible! Thank you!
  16. yeah! just...you know, a picture of them swimming around, looking as awesome as allardi usually do....
  17. mike, any chance i could get a picture of those allardi?
  18. yes, i do think they will take up spawning in another system. when i introduced the male to the female, they started spawning within two weeks. here is an older picture of the female.
  19. I have decided to sell my Amphiprion percula clownfish pair. The female is almost four inches long. Probably the largest percula I've seen. The male is maybe two inches long. They spawn every two weeks, very large nests. I am asking $100 for the pair or trades. If you would like pictures, I will take some.
  20. gorgeous find randy! from what i remember, gigantae like rubble like areas to settle in. alot of people on the RC anemone forum also have either direct flow or some sort of surge over their gigantae. rod buehler has had his for like 10 years, and i think he has several spawning ones at this point, hes a great resource. good luck with the anemone!
  21. if you have any large chromis youd like to part with, or know where any are, please let me know!
  22. does anyone have this issue laying around? someone who doesnt care to let me have it?
