im looking for some good, quality computer speakers. good, but not spectacular. between 2 and 4 speakers, with or without a sub. im looking to spend between 50 and 100 bucks. ive been looking on craigslist, but i really have no idea what im looking at or for. any suggestions? any ideas? anyone have any laying around?

Ive been sitting on this beautiful canopy designed for a 20 gallon aquarium. It contains a 70w 10k DE halide bulb, burned for just about six months, if that. There is a quiet fan installed on one side with temperature sensor. Also included is a single moonlight. Two small T5 bulbs would fit on either side of this unit making it perfect for a nano reef tank. im asking $100

the skimmer was far too sensitive for my system and the collection cup was difficult to remove. but it certainly was very efficient and skimmed exceptionally well.

this extremely generous guy let me use his essentially brand new MSX 200 skimmer for months without payment or without conditions. i was simply looking for a new skimmer, he said he had one i could try out and borrow. and if i liked it, i could buy it from him. i ended up not liking the skimmer as i had hoped, but the fact that he left me use an expensive piece of marine equipment for as long as i did without any kind of nagging impatience or demands was incredibly generous and appreciated. thanks scott!

this guy is quite the tinkerer of pumps. awhile back i complained that my ASM G4 just wasnt doing what i felt it was capable of, or what i even remember it doing when i first got it. preparing to spend a few hundred on a brand new skimmer, jon stepped in and suggested i let him play around with my pump for awhile first. he had it maybe two days before he let me know it was done. i was expecting maybe up to a week. i mean people are busy, hes got children and jobs and hobbies and yet was able to polish off my measily pump with some selfless haste! i hooked up the pump, and was immediately thrilled to see how much better it was already performing. no more need for me to buy a whole new protein skimmer. so if youre considering a new skimmer, talk to jon first. hes got plenty of good tips to try out first and has an excellent ability to vastly improve your existing skimmer pump. and will do so very quickly! thanks again jon!

so im clearing out some space. i have this small acrylic aquarium for sale. some minor scratches. drilled with bulkheads. ready for a unique saltwater or freshwater set up. $40 also laying around is this aqua c remora skimmer. great hang on the back skimmer for smaller systems. im currently using it on a 30 gallon. $75 am willing to trade for SPS corals.

definitely a heteractis crispa. mine is just about the same size as yours.

wow. i was impressed with that finale. i thought the acting was great (ie sawyer and juliette) i thought the cinematography was far better than usual (ie the camera panning around the drill and then down along side it) there was good action, good story, good shockers....a solid finale indeed. i was under the impression we had three more seasons left, not just one! color me scared of when that day comes and i have to start all this over on my dvds just to feel this alive again! im glad they showed people reloading their guns. even if they have 35 bullets per case. it gave much more realism to the scenes. i also liked how many people died, even the guys just pouring water onto the drill bit. no one is safe! i really enjoyed the secret in the box. i was just as annoyed as yenna, but i did not see that coming at all. why did marvin only get his hand hurt? didnt we see him without an entire arm in orientation videos? im glad we got to see the whole statue. that was awesome. now we just have to figure out how it ties to.....spoiler.....ancient egyptians. SOBEK! i was thrilled by the last bit of dialogue of jacob: THEYRE COMING. i imagine this means the people outside the temple at first, but really means some other group of people or entities. darker. more powerful. perhaps eeeeeeeeevil. the whole conflict for the last season. when we finally resolve how i get to marry kate. yenna, when did we see jacob before? has he appeared in past episodes? what are you ideas on the two dudes on the beach at the beginning. jacob and....that other guy. i imagine jacob represents good and the other guy bad. hopefully they will explain why the black rock ended up midisland. i know a long time ago i thought that perhaps the boat didnt crash into the island, perhaps the island crashed into the ship....

gogol bordello is one of the most high energy shows ive ever been to. two encores. they never slowed down. and every member of the audience is moving at all times. incredible. muse was a surprisingly fantastic concert. great lights. their music and vocals are just as thrilling live as on cd. dave matthews at the gorge is always an enjoyable experience, in addition to the actual musical part. ben folds always puts on an enjoyable show. lots of audience interaction.

im looking for a hang on skimmer, one thats better than the remora im currently using.

ive been using the SWC 200 for about a month now, an exact replica of your skimmer if im not mistaken....and i find it to be extremely sensitive. it will produce nice thick foam for about three days, but every fourth day it overflows the skimmer cup suddenly and apparently without reason. my water level stays the same day after day.

i thought these last two episodes were boring. good. but boring. i cant tell if i want more action or more exciting dialogue or what. but i just feel like the pace has slowed way down. until the last 3 seconds of the episode. BEN, SHOT AND KILLED AS A CHILD! BEN, DYING AND BEING TAKEN INTO SMOKE MONSTER TEMPLE! 45 minutes of boring stuff for that? and to counter your point of no memories, if i remember correctly, the scene where ben kills his father is almost certainly premeditated and poignant because he kills him first and with no one else around. so he must of had some negative memories of his father in order to want to murder him. and in such a terrible way. i really didnt like how richard was like, "if we do this, he will lose his innocence..." what? are they going to molest him? i think richard could have said something less creepy and more direct like, "if we do this, we will be using a smoke monster to remove the bullet thereby infecting him with something....dark." just me? nevermind. oh yeah, one more complaint. a really irritating one. so kate storms away from the dock during the night, its probably close to midnight. shes driving away, angry and upset and then aaron wakes up and is like, im thwirstee.... so she pulls into a safeway and....there are a million people in there. even parents with kids. at that late of night, most stores have really scary people in them and certainly not any children. I STILL LOVE THIS SHOW!!! keep them coming!

anyone using a particularly effective HOB skimmer? im currently running a remora on a 30 gallon cube and thought id be more happier with it. turns out im not and after doing some research it looks as if there are some half way decent nano skimmers out there. the names that popped up is, again, the octopus HOB skimmers and eshopps HOB skimmers. they seem to have my attention for the moment. im looking for something unintrusive, not noisy and with as few microbubbles as possible. what are some of you folks using?
