i think sayid is interested in one thing right now. a stand up career.

so. lots of stuff. the pace of the show definitely feels...like the post writers strike episodes. fast. packed. i like it. i like that they kill people now. its a grown up show. its time it starts acting like one. i was afraid i wasnt going to like the science fiction stuff. that it was going to be too unbelievable. which it is, but i find myself still enthralled. i like richard. i want to see more of richard. where did he come from. whats he doing. where can i get some of that eye liner? and lets get the whole jacob thing figured out already.

i started out with an AC jr. probably one of the best purchases ive ever made for my system. the second best purchase i ever made for my system was to upgrade to the AC3. it completely removes all of the anxiety associated with having a reef tank. i can leave for the weekend, and still check on my tank. i can be in a different state all together and have my tank alert me if the temperature gets too high, if the pH gets too high or if the power goes out. its a wonderful investment if you are serious about being in the hobby. its simply a purchase that comes without any regrets, only benefits.

jeff! thank you for the link! its been too long. as per usual, i was gifted the previous season of lost on dvd for my birthday. the day after you posted this, coincidentally enough. and i have just the season finale left to watch. the 21st can come no sooner. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7JfGf6HCNQ i just watched that last night. and.....looks like there is plenty of smoke monster in there. and theyve upped the action! this is what i expect this season: locke kicks more ***. jack episodes start getting interesting again. more claire. more smoke monster killing people instead of just bruising them. just enough science to keep me fascinated, but not too much that it just becomes silly. mr eko. more sayid throat punches. and no more cast DUIs.

i worked at the corvallis petco for a number of years, and while some of their practices were disagreeable, we never were forced to make water changes inside the tanks. we did it very much like its done at peoples homes, in large garbage cans. my store had a rare combination of deeply concerned animal owners, intelligent employees, and managers who listened. with the limited amount of tools i had, i was able to take care of our saltwater animals properly, because my managers trusted my knowlegde and understood just because its written down in a corporate instruction manual, doesnt make it right. if you can cause enough furor at the corporate level, they will listen. thats why they dont sell dyed glass tetras or botias anymore. strong public opinion changes policy.

I have a small 3" or so male a. tricinctus clownfish for sale. he was originally purchased from a collected trio of three band clownfish out of the marshall islands. this fish was the smallest of the three and i took him to pair with my lone female back home. my female did not accept him. so now i am offering this hard to get and very attractive clownfish here.... i am asking $60 please PM me if you have any more questions or would like pictures. this is a very good representation of what this male looks like:

I have an acrylic, blue backed approximately 20 gallon aquarium for sale. i had every intention of setting it up as a stand alone system or a refugium, but decided to hold off. The tank is clean but has some scratches. It has been drilled and bulk headed with 1" and 1.5" holes. It has an angled front pane, perfect for viewing clams. the tank itself could be used as a sump, refugium, nano tank or holding system. im asking $30

Hello everyone. As many of you may know, Joel has been in Hawaii the past week or so. Unfortunately, his family experienced a very terrible tragedy. He and his wife are doing fine, and will be returning stateside sometime this evening. However, he does not know when he will be back at the shop. In the meantime, he has said he will send out an email to everyone on his mailing list explaining the details of his time in hawaii. im pretty sure the pencil urchins will eat things youd rather them not....

i had both a small purple urchin and a long spine urchin in my 120 acrylic tank. i dont believe the long spine did much damage, but the purple one sure did. he would stick everything to his body: rubble, frags, zoos, nori...and then of course drag this over the front panes of my aquarium leaving uniform freedy krueger like marks for several inches. not pleased. and, knowing that most urchins will eat the coralline algae off your rocks, in addition to the rock itself at times, just imagine what they will do to your acrylic if they are foraging/ find a tasty morsel of algae growing... my recommendation is: dont do it! go glass!
