  1. So I am asked what would I like to see fishbit be capable of. I thought it was a good idea to ask other reefers what they would like in an aquarium controller, be it phone app suggestions or hardware. What would you guys like to see? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Iiiiinteresting...

They've been pushing this back since the promise release date of Black Friday. It's a cool looking fixture. I think the tank mount is going to be $30 and light hanging kit $20. So reasonable prices for the unit and mounts unlike their other lines. I like that they have built in wifi capability. I was really tempted to preorder a few but release date got pushed again and again. Too late now, I have my Reefstar alphas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Funny how some people think it's the current bod that is driving people away but participation was already dwindling way before that. Then came the great crash...almost nails to the coffin. Despite all that I really think the bod is doing all they can with what they have. Certain people got butthurt over the past and it seems like they want to do all they can to watch the club burn by just spreading negativity and criticize. If you guys don't like how things are going, pay your dues and voice your opinions. Maybe become part of the bod. Remember, these are volunteer positions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Most likely no. Get yourself a cheap temp controller from eBay or Amazon. I think it's less than 20. I'll see if I can dig up a link. I have a reefkeeper for temp control. Had it doing a couple other things but since changed my setup. The controller is required until the wifi models come out. Once you set it up you rarely need to change the settings. So yeah other than the cool factor of changing the light setup from your phone, it's not something you tamper with all the time. By the way. Even if it is compatible with apex. You would have to shell out around $100 for an apex module anyway. Same goes for the hydra and radions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. TBaquatics is looking for people who likes to do video product reviews. You test out the product, review it, and you get to keep the product. Would you like to receive aquarium products to test and keep when done? Would you like to help fellow aquarists? We are looking for folks willing to create video reviews or blog reviews. We'll send you products, you create the review, you keep the product. If you are interested send us a sample video review or blog post. We will pick a handful of reviewers and contact those we choose! Help create Real World Reviews and help fellow aquarists! Thanks, -Brian K. - Owner

  9. Nice! I just picked up a sargassum last week. Been wanting one again since I lost my first about 4 years ago. Are you going to add more triggers? How about the crosshatch? A pair would look sweet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. Cool nems. I should have done more research I guess as my nems are getting ugly brown/dull colors now. Now...the question is, how can I improve the colors? Rudy mentioned shrimp dipped in cyclopeeze powder, but I looked online and it's sold out everywhere. No word on if and when the company will produce again.
  18. Or a great white shark! An eel tank could be fun. You haven't had that before right? Soft corals, a ton of damsels/chromis, several cleaner shrimps, and a golden tail or japanese dragon. You'll get a kick out of the cleaner shrimp cleaning the mouth. Or...you can ditch that 90 and get a cube!
