It's been a while...
I just got new lights for my tank and all I can say is....wow...amazing difference. Just bought a t5 fixture from a brand new store called Aquaticus, soon to be sponsor I think on this site. Zach's a real nice guy there, and he hooked me up with a t5 fixture with giessman bulbs and a hanging kit.
I was about to drop the hobby since things weren't looking so good in my tank, but my gf convinced me to stick with it. I told her I needed better equipment and she agreed to buy it for me.(clap)
I have the t5 hanging on the pulley system from Sunlight Supply. It should be a breeze to maintain the tank now. Before I had to lug the lights, glass, and extra MH fixture off the top, just to target feed or clean the decomposed. Over time, I just got lazy and neglected the entire tank. I'm going to take a lot better care of the tank this time.
