  1. http://money.cnn.com/2007/08/02/lifestyle/luxury_submarines/index.htm and it can be had from Neiman Marcus's Fantasy list... This would be super cool to have you could cover some good ground under the water, 5k sq ft. sub, that is bigger then most homes, I would probably live in it! I could see how this might be slightly off topic, so if a mod thinks it should be moved to a more appropriate place, please do so...Thanks.
  2. Glad to see that you did not leave the hobby...Was wondering what happened to you...thought maybe you went away along with a few other people who got fed up with some of the stuff on the board....Your system is looking amazing, I can not wait to see the finished product and of course some more progress pics!
  3. I misunderstood his question, apparently I read it to fast...I though he was considering upgrading to 400w and assumed 400w SE, since, like you said, there like 3 DE bulbs...So I was seeing if you though 250w DE HQI was better then a 400w SE set up...my bad.
  4. 60 gal. tank return will be a snapper throttled back.
  5. The baffles will be holding media on egg crate so the water will be running over it...that is why they are so big...I am not sure I will need to up grade skimmers (who knows with me though right?)...the bubble master I am looking at is rated for a 250gal tank....
  6. the snapper is a great pump and they are super, super quite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Ok, so I really have no idea how to design a sump, so please let me know what should be changed on my design, please do not make fun of the drawing, it is very amature and was put together quickly... Dimensions 20"Lx14"Wx16"H skimmer is going to be a bubble master 200 - foot print 12.7 x 8.6 (its going to be a tight fit in the sump, but it should fit... the big section of the baffles w/the nubs, will hold piece of egg crated where I will put filter bags of media and some sponge...I will also have a couple of phos/carbon reactors...somewhere in there... So please give me your thoughts and suggestions...Thanks.
  8. Very true. There is one place in my tank where the sand will not sit still and most people do not even notice the starboard is there, until the really look closely....
  9. Or you want it as a return, this would not be a good idea...I do not think...sorry.
  10. I did not say 24/7, but when they come on once a night for 10 mins is not enough...this is a dead horse now, cause the new mod is on here all the time...so it is taken care of, glad to have a mod who is on here on a regular basis...
  11. That is probably the case, LOL....But according to alot of people I am getting kick backs from stores all around the area...so apparently this is all make me rich!!!!!!!!! LOL, I have lost a ton of money trying to figure out what I really want and I think I am super close to having it all figured out!
  12. I guess I do not have to worry as much as BB guys, cause I have sand...as for the safety factor, 20-40 bucks is great piece of mind....
  13. Put the tank on the stand, LOL...I just really want to get rid of this...it is worth it for the tank alone...
  14. See if we can get this out of my house before I move... 250.00 takes it...
  15. You looking for the needlewheel...I have a brand new 3000 needle wheel if you can handle a little bigger.
  16. yeah going to use everything but the tank and the skimmer actually, there are just somethings that I really want, including going with a taller tank...So this will be a killer deal for someone to pick up, not even 6 months old and almost 50% off...
