Critter cabana out in Newberg has some also, don't know what size. What are you going to use them for? I've heard that they are unreliable, due to the fact that sponges and other growths can lodge in the flapper seat and not allow it to seal completely. I've never used a check valve so take my advice with a grain of salt;)

Yes there is a male and female. They are true perculas.

My clownfish laid some eggs on the rock in front of their anemone. Would anyone want to come over and get them? I'm just going to let the other fish eat them when they hatch out. I'm out in Newberg.(pacifier)

I have a huge one that I got from Keith. It looks like a coconut donut and lugs around a floating thermometer. It lives in my 'fuge and ate up all my macroalgae:(

My sailfin tang will eat just about anything,including poop. My pacific blue tang is the same way. The last few days big blue has been hovering around the clownfishes GBTA trying to eat their eggs. He is a glutton.

Do you have any gurgling from the overflows? How many G.P.H. are you running for your return?

We should vote on it again,so there are no hard feelings from the sponsers.But we should bear in mind that they make their living off of us. Without the hobbyist they wouldn't be in business. And without the LFS's we would have to trade amongst ourselves or order off the internet. I'm not trying to start a fight here,I'm just pointing out some facts.

I don't think that anyone on this thread was trying to bad mouth woody or his store. It doesn't matter how bad a local store is,it's always going to beat petco and petsmart. We are lucky to have so many good stores so close.

Has the club approached woody about joining up with us? Or is there another long story behind this subject?

I was in there about 4 or 5 months ago. I didn't really pay that much attention to the fish,but everything looked pretty good. It's like other every LFS you go,their way is the right way...no exceptions.

Very cool idea.I went so slow with my set up and curing of rock,that I didn't add a fish until 6 or 7 weeks( a bi-color blenny). That was just for a hair algae outbreak. The clean up crew just couldn't keep up with that stuff(emerald crab,snails,hermits and a brittle star). I've heard that if you put some sugar in your tank that the corals will perk up. I have never tried it.

You cycled your rock for 2 weeks and cycled your tank during this same 2 weeks? So you cycled a total of 2 weeks?Then you added your critters? During your 2 week cycling did you have any lights on?

Sometimes it's a great job to drive around town all day . How long is it going to be docked down there and do they give tours?
