I'm a little on the slooooooow side.But why don't you put a valve after the pump and dial back the pump a little? See what happens,before you go out and buy a new pump or skimmer.

I'm not going to say anything bad about anyone,it's a small world. I've purchased qiute a few items from them and they always pull though. It's a chance that you take at any store. They were having some water issues earlier in the year,I think those are all resolved now. Scott is quite knowledgable and helpful. IMO

I've heard that they are very hard to keep. I just picked one up from the local fish place in the "Berg". It was on the decline when I got it = discount price. It has perked up since I placed it in my tank. I will hold my breath and see what happens.

Why don't you block off the overflow with some netting? You can buy about 24' of gutter net at home depot for about $3.00 or $4.00. I have a ton of it if you want some the next time you are in the Portland metro area give me as buzzzz.

I have one he's a hoot to watch. Always picking on the other fish. He's a hog, attacks the other fish at feeding time. For entertainment he picks up snails and hermit crabs and takes them for a ride sometimes to the top of the tank. He drops them of course. He seems to delight in watching them fall. He's a freak, but he's fun to watch.

I ride both dirtbikes and quads. You should try talking to them first,it might be they are totally unaware of your noise despair.

I'm currently running an Aqua-C remora pro on my 116 Gal. tank. I'm in the process of switching to an Aqua-C EV-180, just setting it up now. I've had great luck with the remora pro and would highly recommend them as one of the best H.O.T. skimmmers. IMO
