A buddy of mine had his ebay account jacked sombody stole it changed password so he couldnt get back in and tryed to sell a trackter for 500.00 that was worth 2000.00 and he was getting emails asking if this was for real took him awhile to prove he was actual owner of the account too before he got it back lol with that said IT'S A SCAM BEWARE besides that my bud down here just bought two twoperson jetski's for 2500 and they were only 2years old so look around localy there out there.

almost forgot yes i need to run carbon monthly to keep the tea coloring out even when using a skimmer.And sry dont run any berlin systems to compare

No micro algae in the tank itself you walk a fine line without a skimmer in the setup id use cheto so u dont risk algae going into sexaul repo on you and dumping all the nutrients back into tank, and yes ive seen diatoms and cryno but uslly only in start ups of the system after that there fine unless the client over feeds or adds more fish without me knowing when his or her tank has a low coral count. But even Ecosystem put skimmers in there setups now so as i think its just easier to keep nutrient load down with skimmer rather then just relying on alagae alone to do the job just safer in my opinion but if u stick with hardier nutrient loving corals and have a higher coral to fish population everything should balance nicely the way u want and definately be more natural. hope i helped.

Im not sure how much more energy saving they are but i know they burn brighter then then most electronic halide ballasts i had a 150 that was as bright as a 250watt regular halide so thats ware u save on energy so if you ran a 250 HQI it would be comparable to a 400 without using the extra amps.

ive got a couple setups with clients using there method the only thing iv got problem with is there high prices . So i have my buddy build the sump and i buy a xm skimmer and just use there mud that i get at 7.00 a pound they want a rediclous amount for there sump/protien skimmer package so i build my own at half the price but other then that im getting great results in these tanks.

Got any nassarius type snails looks like there egg sacks or nerite snails could be them actully have seen same type come from nerite snails should be hard to the touch if nerite.

If your talking like a pagoda cup coral(hard coral) ethier brush the flesh off with stiff tooth brush or get some sharp small wire cutters a shave it off but if its a hard coral u can transplant to another location after cutting and add to your collection who knows may turn into a sweet piece.

The larger the system the less problems youll have but they will pick and if system is small the less corals there will be to nip so the natural predadation of the fish will be more noticable on all specimens in the tank.

ive had this happen also in wild colonys i think its a type of bacteral infection that slowly wastes them away and i have moved them to higher flow and the ones that survived in my opinion the stronger flow keep the infection down and they were able to recoop and have never had same prob with the colony again as new growth are now tank raised and hardier then wild counter parts i think this malidy is mainly in wild caught specimens as far as my experance goes.So move to higher flow then move back after colony recoops u may want to do a techra-d dip as i have done this as a extra safe gaurd.

Have u checked the transformer(starter) sometimes white or silver kinda like a small beer can connected to main guts of the ballast ive had these do this on pfo ballasts and are a cheap fix sounds to me if it has this part thats probly the problem they go out from time to time and with pfo are cheap to replace not sure about yours though.

just picked up a nice hawaiian male(mikes right only males get tale) for a client ran 110.00 was about a foot long nice streamers let me know if u have probs up there but they should be able to get u one up there if i can getem.
