I had the aqua blues on my fixture and hated them, I switched to the actinic bulbs. Go with 2 daylights (10k) and 2 actinics.

It seems, from my experience, that fixtures seem to blow out more that retro kits do.

Oh yeah, I also add nori. Just be sure to wash all the fish in ro/di water before you process them. some are sprayed with a food preservative that raises phosphates in your tank.

I make my own food. Several different kinds of fish and shell fish, cyclopeeze, mysis, selcon. Then alternate with a little flake. I feed corals and inverts twice a week with dt's

Whole foods is like the Super Wal-mart of "healthy living stores". I deal with the one here in Portland daily and they want to be like New Seasons and small places like that, but do a poor job of it. Just a couple of years ago they jumped on the "fair trade" band wagon, which, if you don't know, is products from third world countries produced by workers who make a "living wage". Well, as soon as that fad passed, they no longer carry fair trade items. Curious. In my humble opinion.
