OOOPPPs I'm dumb [language filter], I used too much water in the test. retested and it read 10.9 alk.

I just did water testing and have the following parameters: Alk 13.4 calcium 425 mag 1250 ph 8.3 temp 81 SG 1.023 Not sure but I think the alk is too high. I'm using a calcium reactor to maintain levels. Do you think the mag levels are too low? Thanks

Grren and purple would probably do okay with pc lighting. They would have to be up high

What sucks about those is that when they kill off all your aptasia, they die. You could propagate aptasia in your sump or refugium just for the slug I guess.

Thanks to Dave, nu2reefin for the macro. I now have a ton of it from several different tanks. Thanks to Jim from Rainbow Corals, I snagged the fungia and it is great. I would recure it. You will need to add a skimmer to the tub to speed the process up. You could scrape the dead stuff off If you want, but I would just recure it and use it.
