andy
Holy crap. At that price, it doesn't matter *how* good it is... And I thought the Tunze salt was expensive.
mrgreenthumb
haha I know huh, i guess most people would probably only use it for a water change on a nano nano haha otherwise thats just straight cRaZyYy
siskiou
I used it occasionally when I had a nano. I seem to remember that it had some bad reviews at the time, and I decided I'd be better off getting an RO/DI and mixing my own. Especially since the "RO" water I used to buy at a LSF turned out to be worse than the tapwater here.
spectra
Well I just got 2 buckets of the Red Sea today. Will let you know what I think after a few uses. As for my first thoughts they delivered 2 buckets with no handlesDOH! My wife felt sorry for the fed ex lady who had to carry them up the stairs to my front door(laugh) I did get a free shrit in both buckets but I wear a XXL so if anyone wants free shirts let me know(laugh)

drock59
Ive use a lot of different salt. Oceanic, IO, Tropic Marine, Oceanpure and Seachem. In my experience, it doesnt matter what salt you use.....as long as you are testing each batch and adjusting your levels as desired. Many brands that have a reputation for being "stable" often are not at the levels that I want in my tank. Therefore, I add a little calcium or buffer or magnesium to adjust. However, an anecdotal observation, my tank and critters seemed to respond pretty well when I was using Tropic Marine. Most corals appeared to be more vibrant and open along with my anemone. Of course take this story with a grain of.....salt.
jayR
I've been using Instant Ocean and been having decent results. Cheap & locally available. Bought a few buckets for a less then $20.
