Jae
Hello Reef Familia! So I think I am 90% ready to upgrade my fish tank. I am going back and forth on the Waterbox 230.6 or the Cade 2100. I know their is a huge difference in size and price between both. I want to make sure that whatever I get I don’t later feel like I need to upgrade or that whatever i get will house my fishes nicely when they get adult size. Anyhow does anyone have any suggestion when it’s a good time in the year to purchase a fish tank? Don’t know if these tanks ever go on sale. Thanks everyone and happy reefing❤️! obrien.david.j
I'm a fan of >200 gallon display tanks. My feedback is to pick one that's bigger. But, I can't comment on Waterbox vs Cade. Don't both companies make >200gal tanks?
half-astronaut
Seems like Memorial Day would be a good time for sales or July 4th.
Jeff.Tichenor
I don't think I've ever seen either of these two brands on sale. You might talk to All Things Aquariums in Wilsonville. I believe they are a Waterbox dealer (they currently have a new Waterbox 120 in stock).
Jeff.Tichenor
I know you didn't mention other brands, but the Innovative Marine 170 & 200 gallon systems are 40% off right now.
titus'reef
Best time to purchase a fish tank? well…. When spouse says yes once. Buy it all quickly before change of mind. 😁 Just saying. 🤪 Edited March 29, 2023 by titus'reef
Blue Z Reef
Usually hard to beat the Black Friday sales but those are a long ways out. Seems like someone has tanks on sale more or less every month with the general sales cycles between the big online vendors.
Rugops
Why don't you look on Facebook. I saw an entire setup with heaters, skimmer and other stuff for like $100.
