Ronjunior
Same here, now I just need to get a ro/di unit :( I found a used 6 stage that Waves sold, (Aqua Clear I think?), but all the membranes needed replacing...haven't a clue what those costs are. They are zero TDS models and they test at zero, so they are well worth the money.
vanz
Yup thanks for posting this. I placed an order as well.

cyenna
sweet deal...almost too good to be true... I hope it's not a huge scam to get our credit numbers online. :( Or, I hope I don't get inundated with spam since I didn't unclick the checkbox to not receive ads (I didn't see it in time!). mister crabs
I ordered one as well. It was a secure website and Buy.com is still getting the $10 for each unit which is probably exactly what they paid for em so they are breaking even. Its google thats losing $10 on every one but are gaining alot of new customers for thier checkout program in the longrun.
cyenna
I got charged $1.00 by google.... (scratch) still a great deal if this works!
dsoz
Have you ordered from google before? I don't know if the $10 off is for first timers or not. dsoz
Guest Mbeef61
no i got a 1 dollar pending charge too
reefgeek84
Have you ordered from google before? I don't know if the $10 off is for first timers or not. dsoz It is suppose to be for first time buyers, I bought something else from buy.com and tried to do it the way that first timers do it, but I still did not get the 10 bucks off, like I was suppose to...If you have a gmail account, you may not be eligible, but that is speculation...either way this is a killer deal on a TDS meter, I am going to order this, just so I have an extra one laying around. As for someone thinking this is a scam...it is not, buy.com is a huge company that was started to rival amazon...so they are legit and not stealing your CC#, plus google is on it and they are also the #2 most visited website, so they are not running a scam either... reefgeek84
Thank you for easing my speculation. Heaven forbid I defame a good company name. No problem...I know the internet is a scary place and there are so many horrible thieves on it trying to scam people left and right...So I completely understand where you are coming from

I put in CC info as a new customer, gave them my existing gmail e-mail account and got the $10 new customer discount. If I had signed up for the google checkout last Xmas, I wouldn't have gotten $10 bucks off. Well as I've said before, I've never bought a fish related purchase online, does this count as my first? Maybe not since I'm not paying for it. (whistle)
dsoz
No money transferred, not considered a purchase. JK If you want to consider it an online purchase, then go for it.
