Looking to get some space back in my tank, so hoping to find some new homes for my green goblin anacropora and limelight hydnophora.  Both are plate size (>6 inches) in diameter.  Looking for $100 dollars for the anacropora and $80 dollars for the hydnophora.  Not sure if these prices are reasonable as I can’t really find non-frags online.  Willing to discuss if folks are interested.

So my moina macrocopa cultures are doing much better than expected. Easier to setup than brine shrimp and they move similiar to copepods. No aeration, just water changes if that.

A water flea that can live in brackish conditions let's it live for hours in saltwater. Gutloaded with marine phyto to bring up the nutritional content.

I have a few containers with stagnant RODI water. First I harvest. Then I feed phytoplankton (Nannochloropsis/Tetraselmis) diluted to half strength with RODI once every other day.....if that. A substitute food would be yeast + sugar fermentation (few drops will suffice) + spirulna (needs to be stirred to keep in suspension). PNSB and PSB can be used as well but sparingly.

If the culture crashes. Just dry it out completely. Collect the grunge and start again. The moina will come back from it.

I hope to promote more reefers to do live feeding. Currently offering white worm and moina cultures for free.

Can I use these instead of rotifers for clown babies?

  3. My Darwin pair just laid eggs today and I'm thinking of trying to grow them out and make the babies available if I'm successful.  Anyone have live rotifers available locally? That I can trade for of pay later for them? Will also need some phyto to try and culture them. I'm going to setup a biocube for the fry when it's close to time and making a skimmer type fry catch. Any tips is appreciated 🤙

Trying to fill out my tank with some more LPS and maybe ultra  easy sticks. Seems my tank is not as stable as I thought. I lost some stock over the last year but these guys never let me down.  I'm open and can do one head or several depending on what you have.   I can pick up and drop off in Vancouver area as I  live in Battle Ground.  PM or post up.

    Thank you!

I think those maybe frammers.  I could be wrong but these are my frogspawn that I'd trade.20230726_161114.jpg

So about 8-10 inches from one end to the other.

Selling because it's simply too large for my 20 gallon.

    $100 located in Hillsboro.

Nice looking nem! Want to trade for a smaller rainbow bubble tip? Anything else?

Well, after almost 10yrs of Portland life we’re moving to the East Coast.

I just wanted to say it’s been a pleasure chatting aquariums with y’all and I’ve enjoyed getting to know a few of you beyond the forum. There’s a great community of reefers here and it’s been fun having such an active club.

Thanks to everyone who helped me along the way with advice or knowledge…and to those who tossed me a fish/coral or grabbed one from me. Some of my nicest pieces came out y’all’s garages and basements. Hopefully I was able to pay that forward as well.

And not that he needs it - but a big shout out to Jeff and the crew over at Cuttlefish. I first walked into the store on Mississippi maybe 9 years ago and by my estimates - all the fish/corals I blew through probably paid for the big new store. But it’s always been a good time and the place to go for quality stuff. Jeff helped me empty out the big tank and get rid of everything easily, and that’s just one example of those folks going above and beyond to help the community.

Anyway - check your salinity. QT everything wet. Spend the money on an APEX and leak sensors. And backup your heaters.

    Later.

Best wishes for you and your family on your new journey. 🤙

Moving in the few months across the county needing to fine homes for my corals. Had most corals for 3+ years fairly large pieces, putting prices on pieces but totally open to negotiate.

Located in Battle Ground WA, feel free to reach out thanks.

It might help if you have some of the names of the beautiful pieces 🤙

I PMd you but maybe others would be interested as well. What did you use to glue the panel back one once you had it separated and cleaned?

I can't share all my secrets lol it comes from alot of experience and I'm not taking any liability.
